Birthday party
During their break, Danielle had already talked to more than 6 of her classmates, all thanks to "Anna the talker". She was grateful though, her first time was actually going well. As they sat to eat, they were getting to know each other..
There was cherry, the first friend she made, a funny and shameless talker, as long as she says what's on her mind she doesn't mind if you will hate her or not, people love her for her honesty.
Fiona, tall, slim and very pretty and surprisingly intelligent. Not like pretty girls are not intelligent, just that she hides it (wouldn't ask or answer any question unless it's specifically directed to her)
Francis, always with the smiling face, wants everyone to be in a good mood (being in a bad mood is bad luck he says). Luckily, Cherry was quick to warn Danielle not to get on his bad side ("he's a shapeshifter" was her exact words). Emmanuel the quiet one has been his friend since childhood. And then Vanessa and Jessica who are sisters.. They got along quickly and talked like they've known each other for a while, although Emmanuel was quiet throughout just laughing when a joke was thrown in...
This continued till the end of their classes. Not in a rush to go home, Danielle decided to sit in the park and write about her first day in highschool ,a habit since she doesn't have siblings or friends to share her secret with, (she's definitely not telling her mum her secrets).. .
"Dani, you home?! how was school today" her mum called out as she was entering the house. Dani was in the living room watching her favorite movie ( a story about two lovers who eloped because their parents wouldn't approve of their relationship)
"Fine mum" not wanting to be distracted, her mum got the vibe and went to her room to have a shower then to the kitchen to prepare something, that was the same time the movie finished and then Danielle went to the kitchen to talk about her day. She kept on talking non-stop, before asking her mum about her day..

Life in high school isn't as bad as she thought it would be, everything was going well she didn't get into trouble, was having good grades and having fun in extracurricular activities at weekends. Her life was going well.
Vanessa and Jessica had a birthday party at home and she was invited. The party was actually really fun, with friends and family. She watched as their parents were showering them with all their love and couldn't help but feel kinda sad. It's not like she isn't happy with her mum, but if she has the luxury of having a complete family it wouldn't be that bad.
Her mum and dad had her from an affair that didn't work out and they didn't get married, but her mum got married to someone else, although he died in an accident and now it's two against the world. She still talks to her dad once in a while, she stays with him during the holidays, he's not yet married but engaged.
Whenever she thinks about all this, she can't help but kinda hate when people that are not married involve in sexual acts. She's definitely not going to do that, no matter how much she loves him, shes going to have other ways to prove it to him.
"Hey! come back to earth!" snapping out of her thoughts she turned and saw Francis.. "hope you're not knocking at the door of bad luck" he said with a wide grin.
"hahaha, of course not, I already have a lot right now" she said with a forced smile.
"well then, super Francis to the rescue! I wouldn't want to have a taste of bad luck so I have to cheer you up!" Before Danielle could know what's happening, Francis had started doing some funny moves all in the name of dancing, he was really behaving like a 🤡 clown!.
"okay, okay, stop it!" she was shouting while cleaning tears off her eyes because she was laughing so hard. " you're embarrassing me, hahahaha" .. but he wouldn't, she had to forcefully stop him.
The party turned out to be very fun, with many exciting activities that would loosen any uptight person.. She was so tired when she got home, she went straight to bed, not forgetting to pray..
