Why am I?

I woke up, in the woods, with no knowledge of why I had knowledge, or what it was. I only understand my emotions, not the words I also understand. Words, are... Scary. Where am I? Who am I? Why do I have what I "know" to be a "tattoo"? Why do I care? Why do I feel? What am I? What is my purpose? Why am I?
