Meet and greet with ROB..1

As I entered the portal I could see a old school meditation room used in Buddhist monasteries but without the Buddhist statue. I looked around to find several people were meditating and some others are aiding others or be ready to provide aid. I looked at the centre of the group that was meditating at the centre a man of indeterminable age with silky smooth white hair both on top of the head and below the chin, meditating with a aura so peaceful, I just want to move forward and join him during his meditation.

That's weird, I don't feel compelled, it's just my mind wants to do it for its own good. I shake my holographic head and wait for them to finish as I'm not to disturb a multiverse level or an omnipotent being because I feel excited like a teen to have s*x.

As I decided to do a wait and watch strategy I felt someone tap on my left shoulders. Spooked a bit and turned to look at a boy of 15-18 years old looking at me with a smile. He had long blue hair tied into a pony tail, eyes of the same colour, with extraordinarily handsome features and a serene smile.

I think it would be dangerous for men out there if you let him walk out in the 'mortal world', as they would like to call it. Because he might be making men gay left and right. Not me though, I'm a strong heterosexual,. 'Is it because I'm not in a human body that I don't feel urges'. Nah it can't be.

"Excuse me guest would you like to have some tea while you wait?"

I looked at him and nodded my head and replied in a whisper,

"Thank you, and yes I'll have some."

He then slightly nodded his head and went to the side of the room and started preparing tea. Just then everyone in the middle stopped their meditation and slowly woke up and respectfully bowed towards each other. And the white haired man also stood up, seeing this I slowly walk onwards him and brought my hands together and bowed a little and made a greeting,

"Greetings, Chief of Soul Administration. Thank you for giving me this opportunity."

I saw him look at me and shook his head. 'Huh what does that mean?' Suddenly I heard a voice behind me saying something,

"You are welcome Justin Silver. It's just a regular in this place."

I got spooked and turned around only to find out that the handsome boy who asked me if I want tea. 'Wait a damn minute. God damn it, I can't believe I fell for this. He just pulled an 'Ancient one' on me. Damn I should have guessed from the tea'. I was just starring shell shocked for a bit and woke up from my revery. I replied,

"Sorry for not noticing who you were chief, but damn do you always do this? Is this fun?"

He chuckled lightly and replied,

"Oh it's fun alright. You should have seen your face after realising that you were pranked. You just looked like you ate bugs for dinner. Haha, that was funny. You also have bragging rights you know, that you were pranked by an omnipotent being. It would fit you perfectly in your achievements column in your CV."

'Oh god, I'm stuck with a prankster'. I could literally hear my inner self crying, a normal human prankster would be an one hell of an head ache, now I have to deal with an omnipotent prankster. But I manage to come to term with reality. Every thing is out of whack the moment I died, I just hope that I could get a op wish and settle down in a peaceful world. 'Did I just raise a flag for myself, nah it can't be.'

"Yeah sure" I said in a hopeless manner. Then I just moved on to ask him, "Can we talk about the reward for the lottery. And I want to discuss about the perks too. Is it possible for me to know how to address you?"

"You are a hasty one aren't you. You can call me Chief or Soul guider. Sure we can talk about this while having this tea."

We just sit in the middle of the room on top of a cushioned pillow. Between us is a table made of a smooth wood, I unknowingly kept rubbing it due to the softness. 'Damn that sounded weird, let's just stop the thought there, how the hell did these things appear and how am I sitting.' Oh well, my grandfather always told me 'don't question something which you would never understand'. 'I asked him at that time, that if we don't question it how would we know but I understand it now. Oh well thank you gramps.'

" whoa, you do a lot of inner monologue huh, although it's funny do it in moderation okay. It's not fun to just watch you stare stupidly for the ones that can't read your mind."

'Oh ofcourse he can read my mind and I should stop doing this.'

"Yeah sorry about that Chief, it's just, it's a little difficult for me to get a hang of things after my death you know."

Chief then shook his head and replied,

"Don't worry about it. I was just kidding. Take your time and make the wish you want."

I already have an idea of what I want and I asked him

"I want Saitama's powers (one punch man) and for the perks- "

I was suddenly interrupted by him with a refusal,

"Nope"

I was shocked, 'is there a limitation?' To which he replied,

"Yes there is a limitation, I can't make you a Tier 3 level existence of out nowhere. Oh you don't know about the power tiers, here you go" he just points his finger at me and I instantly knew what he was talking about. (A/N: Please refer to power levels in the auxiliary chapters)

"I know what kind of saitama you have in mind and yes he is a cosmic level entity. He would go strong in the future as well. But let me give you a better choice or the only available choice for you."

I asked him, " what is that?"

" oh what do you think the strongest suit of saitama?"

To which I replied, " His bald head? JK, his punch maybe?"

He stared at me for a second and then started talking. I think he just insulted me over my lame try to make a joke.

"No, it's his growth and evolution, he just gets stronger and stronger after fighting with stronger opponents. His will to fight and itself made him break the limiter that was set for mortals. So what do you think? Do you want his potential or do you wish to change the wish to something else?"

"Oh it's just nice, all I have to do is do a hundred push ups, 100 sir ups, 100 squats and 10 km running for 3 years and I can achieve the same level."

I suddenly heard Chief snickered as he laughed,

"Oh you can dream. It doesn't work like that. You have to fight stronger opponents yourself to get stronger. You have to face your challenges to grow stronger."

I think I just heard a shounen plot. You know the usual fight stronger guys and progressively get stronger kind. 'Is it okay? Should I change it to something else?'

"You can change it if you want but you would have to start from the beginning, even if you have any kind of power it's just the same. That's how it will become truly yours."

I just thought about it. If it is like this I would rather choose saitama's power after all. Because it's straight forward and I don't have to grind my brain to develop a technique if I have some kind of complex powers. It's fine if I can improve slowly. I don't have ambitions like others to conquer the world or become the strongest. As long as I could survive it's fine. (A/N: Hehehe)

I'll compensate the negative aspects with perks I'm going to get.

"Yeah I'll take that and can we discuss about perks? And their cost."

To which Chief replied,

"Sure list out what you want and I'll name the price."

I replied to him, "could you please give me some time?"

"Sure"

I started thinking, 'Starting from zero and have an extraordinary potential. Hmm, so I don't have to get any strength enhancement perks. I have never been in a fight before so I have to compensate for that. Martial arts techniques? Ability to adapt in a fight? A higher intelligence perk toa compensate for all the brute strength, hmm what if there is psychic so mental defence on the agenda. To ensure a smooth integration, if it was a technological advanced civilisation, an identity.

What else?…oh yeah I almost forgot the most important one.'

After thinking a bit more I decided to ask for the perks that I considered would be useful.

"Chief, I would like to know about the perks related to learning martial arts. Or martial arts in general"

"Martial arts huh, for the learning aspect there are three main perks, Martial artist, Martial arts genius and Martial arts prodigy. Martial artist- you can learn martial twice as fast as normal person. Martial arts genius- learn martial arts 10 times faster than martial artist. Martial arts prodigy - learn martial arts 10 times faster than martial arts genius. As for the price Martial artist costs - 10 karma points, Martial arts genius costs- 100 karma points, martial arts prodigy costs- 1000 karma points."

'Hmm, quiet cheaper than I thought. The martial artist is out, since it only provides twice the learning speed of the normal. I don't think I'll heavily depend on martial arts so prodigy is also out of the way.'

"What about techniques? Could I master it as soon as possible?"

"No. There are techniques you can buy but you have to practise it from scratch. Do you want to buy some techniques?"

"Yes please, I would like to buy Krav Maga and MMA."

"That would cost you 25 points and 35 points respectively. What else do you have in your mind?"
