1 Who Will Bell The Cat?

Chapter 1: In The Beginning

In a quiet meadow surrounded by tall trees, a group of animals lived in harmony. There were mice, birds, rabbits, and squirrels, all living together and enjoying each other's company. They would spend their days gathering food, playing games, and telling stories.

However, their peaceful existence was suddenly disrupted when a sly and cunning cat moved into the area. The cat, with its sharp claws and even sharper teeth, began to harass and eat the animals. The mice were the first to feel the brunt of the cat's attacks, followed by the rabbits, birds, and squirrels.

As the cat continued to prey on them, the animals began to worry and wondered what they could do to stop it. They knew that they needed to take action before it was too late, but they didn't know how. They held a meeting to discuss the issue and came up with an idea - they would put a bell around the cat's neck so they could hear it coming and hide when it was near.
