5 Chapter 5: She's Alive

Phoenix Palace.

"No! This is not happening! The wedding should not be postponed!" The empress wailed, throwing all the things whatever she holds. "Madam, calm down. As long as Lan Fei has the title crown prince, no one will be the next emperor but only will be Lan Fei." Nanny Fang stops and is trying to make her lady calm down on her state. "My lady, you should rest and think properly to secure now the throne of the crown prince. Also you should now plan how to reconcile with the emperor as he will take you as a bait to receive the punishment for what happened today."

The empress sits down, trying to be stable.Nanny Fang gives water to her lady. "What will I do, Nanny Lang?"

" It's better to stay humble now and don't make any move as for now." Nanny sincerely advised knitting her forehead..

Yang's Pavillion.

All the family who attended the postponed wedding gathered at the main hall excluding the eldest daughter Yang Xue. Silence was domineering, no one spoke. All their faces are wondering and at the same time furious especially the Prime Minister, Yang Gu except for one.

There's a fine young lady who is sitting confidently at the side of the wall. No one could see what's behind her mask, only those cold but gorgeous eyes as if they were dead. Not they could tell what is she thinking and her reaction.

Yang Fe, the second daughter notice her. She thought she could see the mocking smile of her little sister but she only got to see those cold eyes looking directly at her. This made her furious. Like a lion ready to devour its prey, Yang Fe stood up and as when she start to yell at her little sister, she has interupted by the servant who shouts. " Eldest lady, Yang Xue is here!."

Everybody stands up as Yang Xue goes inside the hall. Yang Fe, who is the most worried run to her quickly.

Yang Xue is not still on her mind, thinking what she saw earlier. She has awaken by her mother, Yang Fe when she held her arms.

"Mother! She's alive. I have seen her! She..she's there at the temple." Trembling as Yang Xue falls down and was assisted by her mother.

Everyone was puzzled to who is alive. "What do you mean, Xue?" Yang Fe exclaimed.

"Who's alive?"...
