After the revelation was done, Lea's mother Lucille chose to ignore what she saw. They didn't try to convince her, if she decided to live in denial was her decision.

Lea wished she could be like her mother, pretend everything was normal. However, she wasn't as lucky as her mother, destiny chose a different path for her. Everywhere she went in town people seemed either to stare at her or show their hate and disgust and the final was the bowing down.

She didn't give a damn what they thought of her, she was used to it. Julia and her friends always did this to her before Aldrin found her as his mate. So, this was nothing new, however, she found it extreme this time. But she noticed she had some people smiling and supporting her. It was a surprising discovery and she welcomed it with open arms. There were always people who will hate you for no apparent reason, so she was not going to care about them.
