7 Mates

Mike, Aldrin, and Brandon overheard the conversation they had. It was cute to see them communicating like that. Mike was the only one who currently was mateless and what a surprise it was to find that Lea and Lucas were friends. This was going to be easy for their positions as the future leaders of the werewolf community.

"They are cute right?" said Brandon, he was supposed to get jealous when he sees his mate with another person, but to his surprise, he was not feeling anything like that but found them cute together.

"Yeah, who would've known they are friends. This will make things easier, but I am kinda worried when she finds out about his identity and ours, what will be her reaction," said Aldrin.

"I think our Luna is open-minded, look at how she is talking to him about the incident in class. Of course, she will be angry but she will forgive him as they are best friends," said Mike.

Aldrin smiled with pride when he heard his friend and gamma make that comment. Many people may not know how picky Mike is and his approval of his mate and voluntarily called her Luna, was an honour and surprise for Aldrin. Yeah, people may say, why does it matter if he approves or not? Who is he to object? But to Aldrin and his friends, it was different.

They are allies, family, and brothers. So, what the other feels about their partner matters because, in the long run, it would create conflict if they didn't see eye to eye.

"Thanks, man. I'm glad you think so," he replied.

"Not a problem man, I just think she is a tough cookie. Also, I have no reason to dislike her," said Mike. hey just left like that.

When Brandon got home, he found his father, mother, and brother having a discussion, which did not look pleasant. His father was rather upset but he didn't care, he was to fuel his anger. It was now or never, he had to make them aware of his mate being a man.

"Dad, I have something to talk about with you," he said. "What is it?" asked his father rather impatiently.

"I've found my mate," he said looking at his father in the eye. "Really? That's wonderful." said his father with a bit of a smile.

"It's a guy," answered Brandon. "So?" asked his father.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SO?" screamed their mother which came as shock to Jackson and Brandon.

"Why are you yelling Samantha? Brandon just said he found his mate," said Austin.

"Are you being serious right now? He just said it's a man. How can our son be mated to a man?" said Samantha with disgust.

"What is wrong with that? They are mates and they didn't choose to be mated, it is fated to be," said Austin with a calm tone.

Huffed with anger Samantha glared at her mate. Didn't he understand how disgusting this was? It was just wrong for same-sex people to be in a relationship. Why was he acting as this was natural?

Brandon was confused about what was happening. It was supposed to be his father who acted this way not his mother.

"Unbelievable. This is just fucking unbelievable." Yelled his mother. "I will not have a son-in-law from you. You will reject that boy and never look back. This is unacceptable in this household." commanded his mother.

Brandon was shocked by this behaviour.

"I am sorry mom, but I will not reject my mate because you have a problem with it. I like him and he will be the only mate I will accept." Brandon answered.

SLAP!!

His mother slapped him, this shocked all of them.

"How dare you defy me. I am your mother and you will do as I say, do you hear me?" she screamed at him like a madwoman.

It was so bad that she was about to shift with anger. Still, Brandon found it very reversed. He was always under the impression that it was his father that was homophobic, but it seems it was the opposite. He must have made those remarks to get his mother out of trouble and limelight.

"Well, I'm sorry you feel that way. I will not change my mind, it's my life, and it's my mate. I get to decide what is best for me, not you. I didn't choose your mate and you don't get to chose mine."

When Samantha had this answer, she seethed with anger. She started to growl and was quickly shifting.

"Then if you don't listen to me, I will finish you this moment. I rather not have a son like you at all. You are a shame to this family. How care you bring such disgrace?" she hateful said to her son.

Appalled with his mother's behaviour Jackson couldn't stand it. How can his mother speak this way to his little bro?

"Mom, are you being serious right now? How is this his fault? You're even thinking of killing your son because he appreciates the gift Luna gave her and acknowledging his mate?"

They were all standing up now afraid she was going to kill Brandon. She was shaking with anger and growls filled the air.

"ENOUGH" Came a loud commanding voice. It was Aldrin, though he was not the king yet he still could use his alpha command to the pack members.

The allow submitted, Samantha tried to resist and whimpered in fear and defiance.

"How dare you defy me?" growled Aldrin. A howl was heard as Samantha fell on the floor and showed her neck in submission.

"How could have thoughts of killing the future beta of this pack? " asked Aldrin.

"Don't you know this is a capital crime?" he said with disgust and anger. How can a parent be such hateful?

"He is the one who is not listening. If he doesn't respect me as a mother, I must punish him," she said whilst still in a submission on the floor.

"Are you saying you're happiness means more than his? Why should he reject his mate so you can feel superior? What gives you the right?" asked Aldrin.

"I am his mother, he should do what I tell him to. His life is mine, he owes this to me," she angrily said.

"Are you out of your mind Samantha?" asked Austin.
