Weeks went by after the drama caused by Celia and her daughter. Thomas was living in guilt after killing Cynthia, even though he knew he did it to protect Lea. He knew she could have done so herself, but he felt it was his responsibility. He didn't care what happened to Celia, she cheated on him and tried to fool him into believing Cynthia was his daughter.
