10 Who Killed Katherine? (Part 10)

Samuel needed some clarity on the words uttered from his father's mouth about being no son of his, went to his mother for some answers. He went inside her room without announcing his entrance and cunningly asked her why he doesn't look like his father. His mother was struck by such question as she tries to quickly put away a picture, the picture fell and Samuel saw it. His mother with a baby in her hand and a man looking like Samuel. As she tries to take up the picture, Samuel quickly picks it up and looked closely at it and then at his mother with puzzled eyes. He then figures out that the baby in his mother's hand could be him, he takes the picture and storms out. He then thought to himself, if he's not David's son, then Katherine will inherit everything as the rightful heir.

Back to the dinner table, there were small talks over the roast chicken, mashed potatoes, cake, beans, ham, corn, vegetables, and red wine. Charlie looked over at Katherine smiling and winking as she looks back in disgust, David and Elijah were talking about finance, Mrs.Parsons notices silently Mrs.Vandam's bruises. The Silence was broken when Samuel got up unannounced and went over to his father and placed a picture on the table infront of him and walks out. As David looks at the picture, you can tell he was upset but he shrugs it off with a smile on his face. He asked his guest to excuse him, Katherine got up and went over David's table and looked at the picture and then walked out. Mr. Vandam looked at Charlie and say, "well, get up and go get her." As he smiled at Mr. David who hopefully smiled back. Mrs. Parsons asked to be excuse as she cleared the table, as Mr.Vandam signaled to Mrs.Vandam to go help Mrs. Parson.

Mr.Vandam raises a toast to the union of the two family. While Mrs.Vandam placed the dishes in the sink, Mrs. Parsons holds her hand as she looks at her hand. She then asked,"when?" As Mrs.Vandam quickly pulls her hand away and refuses to talk. As Mrs. Parsons urges her to get out before things end tragically.

Meanwhile back at the old plantation, Ruben can be seen eating grass just outside, while Aron on the inside plays with a chain as he looks at a picture of his family with the Parson's logo in the back. Samuel wanting to clear his head, decided to go on a journey to his late maternal grandparents aboards. As he draws close to the house, he saw Ruben outside, he quickly draws his gun as he approaches the house. Katherine somehow knowing that Aron would have returned walked into the direction of the old plantation. Pow! echoed a gunshot as Katherine now madly dash towards the house. Charlie who was close behind ran towards the sound as well.
