Chapter -229

Renee who had passed out from exhaustion, finally woke up in an unfamiliar room. She adjusted her sight and looked around and finally, sits up.

"Oh, you are finally awake."

A familiar voice made Renee turn her attention to the person. She looked around again trying to familiarize but it wasn't in the villa nor any place she knew. "Marchioness, where am I?"

Ruth stood up from her seat, closing the book she was reading. "You are in my guest room." She puts the book on the table and made her way towards her. "You passed out after you healed His Majesty. He requested for your full health attention until you wake up."

"I passed out..." Renee mumbles trying to remember the last memories. 'Right, I did pass out.'

"How are you feeling now, Lady Renee?" Ruth sat by the empty chair and passed her a glass of water.
