7 Old Man With Secrets

"Out of all places, he chose to be here."

I scrunch my nose at the awful overwhelming smell from the garbage can.

This place had not changed one bit since the last time I was here. It was the same overbearingly tall holding with tinted windows. As always, the same feeling of belonging was instituted.

Mysteriously as it had appeared, as a bar of high quality as such. The background of the owner was always a mystery. Crazy rumors were always to be persistent.

There were really not many people who knew about this place and came here. The people who did know about it all had great connections. But, maybe it is because this building is located deep in the city's alleys. Which sane mind would want to come to a bar in the middle of a dark alley? Who knows what kind of people reside here.

Though, I couldn't blame Vector. I was at fault as well, was it not me who had introduced him to this place first?

"My queen, is your brother really here at this place? It seems spooky and not to mention the foul smell. It is not safe here for you. Let us go," Alice chatters out of nervousness.

I assure her, "Do not worry, the inside certainly did not look as bad as the outside back then. It must be the same now. I trust Adrian to have marked out his location and keep us safe."

"He indeed will, but a noble's son coming here. It is certainly surprising."

"Is it so?" I thought how she would react if I told her I used to come here. It would be better not to. "Come, let us go in."

I walk inside the place which I had not been in many years. Alice walking quickly behind me. I question if things might have changed and if the owner would still remember me.

After walking inside the entrance. Without looking for my brother, I first look for the owner. He was always to be around the bar.

I quickly found him after. His big disheveled grey hair was a prominent thing about him. Who else would have such a crazy hair?

"Alice, do you see the big tall man with messy grey hair? Bring him to me. Tell him Victoria wants to talk to him."

"Should I only say your name, my queen? Is he really close to you?"

"Yes, now do not ask more questions and do as I say."

She looks at me questioningly. Alice has never heard me mention about him.

"I will do as you say, my queen."

I sit down on a chair. Looking at all the furnitures and items inside the big round room. His style really had not changed in these years. He still had the same luxury furniture sets. Not even the paper towels were any less.

I had a feeling he is no commoner. Which commoner would be able to afford this?

Quickly getting rid of the thought as the two figures approach me.

"David, has it not been a long time?" I smile at him.

"It certainly has. Why do you seek this old man, Victoria?"

I lean in towards them.

"I have a request for you. Please find out who the new concubine really is. You and I both know that Sir Hans never had a daughter to begin with."
