Alexander Dean is the name of our protagonist in this story. The boy who was exclusively blessed by the Gods. A figure of admiration, beauty, knowledge, and power.

Teachers found satisfaction in the pupils' thirst for knowledge who openly demonstrated his academic prowess. Pure maidens fail to resist the temptation of his allure and gave their hearts to him, publicly or privately.

Nevertheless, our main character is still a virgin for legal reasons and has maintained the humbleness of a saint, for now.

Looks, brains, and money, being the only child and eventual successor of a well-established entrepreneur, he has it all. A complete package, one might say.

Could one dare to ask for anything more? However, the omnipotent deities forgot or rather delayed to add the finishing touch, superhuman powers.

It all started on a day like any other. The fluttering of the cherry blossom trees indicated the dawn of a new start. Among the pleasant calm environment, the pollen of flowers, and the overall serene beauty, spring had brought along with itself, the beginning of the school year.

It is currently April. A week has passed since the opening ceremony, and students were still in the middle of thinking which club they should join, giving it way more importance than they should. Alexander had a lot of choices. More like he was bombarded with them.

With his Caucasian skin pigment and azure blue eyes he inherited from his American father, not standing out was one of the few things he was terrible at. Naturally, with his name and appearance different from his peers, he was sure to be the target of attention in the land of the rising sun. Though his manner of speaking and accent is the same as any native due to living his entire life in Japan, more specifically in Kanagawa.

Because of this fact and since he got in the same school branch he completed his middle school, in spite of this being a fresh start, ironically, everyone knew him, and the few wandering souls that didn't, soon acknowledged his existence.

In his middle school years, he joined the basketball and badminton club in his first year. In his second year, he joined the football and swimming club and in his third year, baseball and tennis, excelling in all of them. With his athletic body and mental capabilities, he could join any club he wanted to. He knew that, and so did others.

Thus, such is the reason for him being mercilessly being attacked by recruiters in the hope that he would take an interest in their clubs.

Alexander gazed outside the school's window, refusing to get up from his seat. Not conversing with anyone like he used to and with no one knowing what was going on in his head, his admires decided to let the man be as a bit of mystery added more charm to his already colossal arsenal. No one interfered with him, except one.

'Oh, your Majesty, do you have some free time?'

Alexander turned his head towards the door and found Yuuto with a crooked grin entering the classroom.

'I'm surprised you're still here. Shouldn't you be getting mobbed by your fan clubs right about now?'

Yuuto examined the room, counting how many students were still there and how many had left. His arrival itself made a few of them leave.

'Shouldn't you be minding your own business?'

Alexander coldly replied, unusual of his character.

'Now, now don't say that, Alex. We're friends, right.'

Yuuto called him by his nickname. Taking advantage of being one of the few people that can call him that. He spun a chair and sat upon it, directly facing his friend.

'So, which lucky club will it be? Have you made up your mind?'

'Not yet.'

'What?'

Yuuto threw both his hands in the air, exaggerating his reaction.

'Get a load of this. The great Alexander has yet to grace a club with his presence. Unbelievable!'

'You know I don't like it when people call me that.'

Alex brushed his jet-black hair, one of the few traits her Japanese mother managed to sneak into his genes, up his face to reveal his blue eyes staring straight into Yuuto's hazel eyes.

'It's not my fault that a certain someone has the name of a legendary conqueror and king. Also, it's not my fault that the same someone lives up to his name though not in the same sense, yet.'

Yuuto teased the person he has adventured through the woods, jumped in the river, and played pranks with. Despite being with him for only three years, he knows him like his own brother. He knows what gets a reaction out of him and what doesn't.

'And what's wrong with not choosing a club? I don't have to make a decision instantly.'

'Try telling that to the countless crazy fangirls that gather in crowds from just hearing your name.'

Yuuto put both his hands behind his head, leaning backward with eyes glued to the door. With that remark, he managed to drive away the few lingering eyes that were still around. It was one-on-one bro time.

'Come on man, what will it be? People spend good money to know your answers.'

'You sell information about me?'

Alex's drooping eyes failed to open, but his mind became active hearing this.

'Don't say it like that. I spread information about you, and sometimes it earns me a soda. That's all.'

Yuuto's grin told him that it was more than that. Alex made a mental note to keep a bit of distance from him.

'What's with this attitude, Alex? You look like an old geezer with one foot already in the grave.'

Yuuto reminded Alex of his expression that looked as if he hasn't slept for days.

'That might be a good way to describe how I'm feeling right now….Maybe tennis.'

After a slight pause, Alex replied.

'What?'

'I think I'll join the tennis club.'

'So it has been decided.'

Yuuto took out a small notebook from his pocket and proceeded to nimbly scribble the new-found knowledge.

'I want half the earnings.'

'Come on, what's a future millionaire gonna do with a few measly yen?'

'My dad isn't a millionaire. I am not that rich.'

'I'm not talking about your dad. I'm talking about you. That's why I said future millionaire.'

Yuuto's smile showed that he believed in Alex's future more than Alex does.

'And a future millionaire needs to financially support his buddy's future.'

'If your future depends upon what the kids in school got in their pockets, then I fear for you.'

A moment of silence ensued before their smiles turned into laughter.

'But seriously man, you okay?'

'Yeah, I'm good.'

Alex finally stood up.

'Come on, Yuuto. I think the tennis club is still taking trials. We can enlist now if we hurry.'

'What makes you think I'm joining the tennis club?'

Yuuto stood up, putting the chair back in its place.

'Because your pervy side wants to watch all the girls that come to watch me from the sideline.'

Yuuto swung an arm open and placed it over Alex's shoulder.

'You know me too well.'
