2 Turns down the Case.

I stopped staring and deep thought as she sharply moved slightly.

I observed her first before approaching. She slowly open her eyes then look around then our gaze met.

I was dumbfounded for a moment by her because I did not think that the color of her eyes was so beautiful and the beauty she possessed.

She was also staring at me so I couldn't help but marvel at her.

the color of the eyes that sparked, the ocean blue eyes that really fit to her and her natural reddish lips that it feels so soft.

I stopped when she spoke.

"¿Dónde estoy?"

=(where Am I?)

"hospital" I simply said to her.

She looked away from me and turned to the window and her attention was seriously focused there and approached me not giving me a glance.

"are you okay now?"

I ask her while walking towards her but she didn't glance at me. she answered my questions while her full attention is still on the window.

"yes"

I took a heavy sigh before I ask another question.

"so how are you feeling right now?"

"I'm definitely fine"

She coldly said, But this time she glance at me. I swallowed before speaking again.

"by the way, what happened to you?. I saw you running with a rush and I suddenly smack you but don't ya' worry there's no infected at any part of your body"

I said then put my hands on my pocket and look at her straight.

"what Am I doing here?" she ask then look around again then her gaze stop to me.

"just like what I said a while ago."

I simply answered her. I was about to speak again when suddenly there was a knock on the door that interrupted us, and it opened. The nurse's face looked up and then he entered when he saw that the patient was awake.

"excuse sir, ma'am. Ahmm... Ma'am may I ask what is your name?"

The nurse ask her but she just gave him the stare that gives awkwardness to the nurse. So he turned to me and was about to ask, But before he could say anything The patient paused him.

"I'm Mary Khiella....... Avadell."

She said so we both looked at her. The nurse smiled and approached her after. he wrote the name of the woman I bumped into earlier.

He checked if the patient was okay then he listed everything then turned to me.

"Ahm ... Bueno ... Señor. La paciente está bien. Puede irse ahora"

           TRANSLATION:[ ahm.. Well.. Sir. The patient is fine. she can go now].

"Tengo que irme señor, señora. Los dejo aquí"

          TRANSLATION : [I gotta go sir, Ma'am. I'll leave you two here].

The nurse said and then she walk out of this room.

I moved closer towards the bed and approached the woman sitting on the hospital bed.

"so your name is Khiella what a nice name huh. "

I said But she did not respond.

Wait. where do I take her?. I don't know where she live.

"where do you live? I'll take you there".

She just stare at me for a second before she answer.

"I have no called home"

She said still staring me intently. Why she don't have a house?. I wanted to ask but did not do it instead, I just look away and then think about something else for a while.

Well, I can bring her to my place since she's my responsibility because I'm the reason. But wait, I did not totally hit her with my car.

I will also go home to the Philippines because of the company that needs me. I'm an Engineer and  Police Man or Chief officer.

"okay I'll take you.... To... My place. . I will let you to stay in my house till you found a job and find your own house or apartment in the Philippines because you were my responsibility right now"..

I turned away and went out.

After that, we went to my apartment. She was just sitting on the sofa Earlier she was also quiet the whole time. did her breath get not stinky?, because she did not speak ?.

It's perhaps good that her saliva does not rot because she does not speak.

I am preparing something for us to eat tonight.

When I completely finished what I'm doing, I then went to her.

"kakain na tayo---I MEAN dinner is ready, let's eat"

I said. She looked at me frowning and sniffed. Surely She did not understand me  because She was probably from Italy or in America or somewhere.

"I understand Filipino language .. Because I'm a Filipino too"

She said that's why I was surprised but Yes, I'm also a fool E, No? But I thought she might just have a race like me.

"Filipinos are still Eh?, why don't you even speak Tagalog?" I told her. She snorted more.

"Eh? Of course because we are in the hospital that time and the people don't Understand the Filipino  language stupid"

She said so I raised an eyebrow and looked at her. Am I really told stupid ?. I can get rid of it here. but she is my responsibility because I bumped into her and she fainted.

"huh !. Get out of my apartment then!"

I said annoyed and the expression on her face was different and then her eyes widened as she looked at me.

"I don't want to, why am I leaving? Didn't you say you have a responsibility?"

She said to me like a child and I just 'tsk.'  because I found it really childish.

I looked up to her eyes and looked down to her body which was very beautiful 'cause she have a perfect shape but now I noticed that she was wearing very dirty clothes and my forehead was furrowed then looked at her face again. okay her face is clean but her clothes look like rag but why she does not look like a manang or beggar because instead she looks hot and this woman is very attractive.

I was surprised when she suddenly pushed me and I saw in her eyes the heel I wondered staring at her.

"what's wro ----" I couldn't finish what I was about to say when she spoke as if terrified.

"no please .. Don't go near me please"

she pleaded and I don't understand why ?I barely approached her even more she penetrated the sofa.

" I won't do anything bad to you. What is happening?. Are you okay?"

I told her then I saw a drop of tears from her eyes so I approached her and she was afraid looking at me and It shock me when she hugged herself tightly with her legs bent and was covered by his hug.

I still approached her by moving closer, then I gently and carefully hold her. I was surprised when she suddenly hugged me tight.

"please don't leave me.. Please don't push me away I have no inhabitable, I don't know where to go if you're goin' to cast me out"

She said so I gently caressed her on the back with caution.

"shhhhh.. Stop crying I won't dispelled you"

I don't even know you but I really felt sorry for you even if I don't know anything about and what happened to caused you like this.

I waited for her to calm and let her sleep. I'm confused of her sudden behavior. Was she a victim of a something worst or anything that could caused her like phobia?.

Phobia to what?.

I don't know either. But I really felt pity for her.

I think she really is something that I can't point it out.

I sat to the couch and grab my phone. I look for my cousin's number on the contact list then called him.

It rang twice before got answered.

"yes what's up Ezriel?"

I gasped before say anything.

" Fernand, I just called you because I have a question"

I said then rest my head on the couch, staring at the ceiling.

"go on, spill it Men".

"what is the main reason if the person suddenly change behavior like they are paranoid or something?".

He stay quiet after what I said. After a while then he spoke.

"it has 'lot and different cases dude. I need to know what you are talking about very clear. So I can give you an explanation".

I stood up and went to the balcony to To breathe a fresh air. I need to think properly about it. I can help her, I'm a Police man or should I say Chief officer so basically I do can help her with the case.

"Okay I'll call you later or maybe we can talk if get there. I will go home to Philippines, my company needs me so I guess we can talk about it personally". I said then he agreed and I hang up and end the call.

Feeling the fresh air gently touching my skin. I was thinking about my friend and Khiella.

I know my best Buddy is alive. I don't believe he is really dead, I can feel it.

At the moment I was spacing out for having a deep thought and got interrupted by my phone suddenly rang and it divert my attention.

I put my hand on my pocket then grab my phone still ringing. I shove it to my pocket and I saw Josh's name flashed on my screen. I swipe it to the answer buttom and put it to my ear.

"chief"

he called and then I already knew he was right now. I can say that his in the bar because of the music field on his background.

"Yes?" I said then he proceeded to the reason why he called.

"as we investigated the cases. The result is none, so all the officers and police man are now saying it is enough because it's not working. They're believing that the case you filed to investigate is not worth it."

An angry suddenly shivers down my spine. How dare they saying it's useless and worthless?.

How could they. I will never stop believing that this would go through.

I know to myself that it have a chance that he is alive.

" what?! "

My voice can't hide what I have felt right now. My Angry was evident in my voice.

"yes I'm sorry chief".

I cannot believe it, they are turning this down.

"tell me what happened to the investigation"

I angrily said and then he told me a whole story of thier investigation.

After hearing about what happened to thier missions confused me.

Josh told me that something in the apartment, where they are investigating is really strange.

What does he mean is I don't know. Maybe I should check it once I get to the Philippines.

After the call and conversation with Josh. Someone called again and this time it is about my Company.

And the news about my Assistant is her body founded in the small alley.

I was shocked by the news, that was being reported to me.

How did it happen?. I don't know either but it really sucks me.

This is freaking absurd!. The news that was reported to me about my Secretary is a victim of rape and killed by the unknown guys and it has a notes that says ' you are a traitor and the traitor deserves to be dead'.

I don't know why they put a note stab on my secretary's chest that she is a traitor.

I was really curious about it.

"okay let's talk about it more when I get back there tomorrow. I'll hang up now, I have so many things to do right now" I said and end up the call.

This is a long day and night. It has lot of strange things that happened.

Firts I banged someone and then next is the investigation got turns down and more.

I sighed and looked again at the lights in the Spanish city before deciding to go in and go to the bedroom to rest and go to sleep.
