1. First Encounter
When I opened my eyes I felt an incredible pain in my head. The room is filled with reek smell of alcohol. I sighed while looking at the pyramid that made by my dirty clothes. This is the room of 23 years old Samantha Ellis , a single women.
After my daily routine I entered the kitchen to grab something to drink.
When I finally made an eye contact with the clock
Ahhhhhhhhhhh
I'm late...
Phew...
I made it. when I entered to the elevator i was breathing heavily due to the commotion i made to escape from the consequences of 'being late'. My head is still hurting. I adjusted my nerd glasses and then massaged the forehead..
.... It's been 6 months since I have been working here , one of the luxury hotel in * name of the place*. But I'm totally not in love with this place. Freezing cold and rich people both are enemies of my life. I'm missing the sun....
I came back to reality when someone poked my shoulders .
"Sam here" someone from behind waved at me
"Hey Jess"
Jessica Carson, my coworker and bestie. The Only one who knows everything about me. My childhood friend. She is the one who helped me to find this job.
"I called you so many times Sam" she said while pouting.
"Sorry Jess i think I was lost in thoughts" i said it while adjusting my glasses.
"Where you building a castle with a hot prince in your dreams " she giggled while we walking to the changing room.
"Stop it Jess we are already late"
I suddenly bumped in to a woman. She glared at me with those piercing eyes. However she is a very beautiful and wearing an expensive pink sheath dress showing her perfect curves. While jess dragged me i slightly bowed and apologized to her. The woman just walked away as we moved on.
After my morning shift i called jess to eat together. But she didn't answer. So I started to search for her in the lobby. I heard a shouting voice of a women. I peeked through the side walls and found that the women is the same one who I bumped in the morning. And scene was similar to couples quarrel in dramas.
When I'm about to leave i over heard that man saying 'i don't need you anymore just f*k off'. Those words gave chills through my spines. Somehow I felt an incredible pain in my heart.
When I realized that the man who's arguing with the woman is coming closer to where I'm standing. I quickly hide behind a pillar. Thank god. He just walked past me without noticing. He was tall and in perfect fit. I can say that he is handsome even from the back. But what's the point in it if he is a assh*le.
When I moved to the opposite way were he left I saw the women. Her eyes was filled with tears and her gaze still following the man who left her.
I don't want to enter their sophisticated relationship but still as someone working in that hotel I bowed and asked her.
" Mam are you okay"
" F*ck of b*ch it's none of your business" she slammed the door at my face.
'whoooo that's scared me' cool women cool . Tsk tsk dumbed woman's are the scariest one" I mumbled while walking back to find Jess .
When I finally found her, she was talking with a customer.
Wait isn't he that man I just saw there. what is he doing here and it seems like she is having a very uncomfortable talk with him.
After he left i called and waved at her. She startled when she realized that I was standing there.
" Why are you sweating so much"
I asked when she came closer.
"Sam what are you doing here. come-on let's go" she grabbed and forced me to walk with her. When we finally made an eye contact she stopped. She might have figured out that I'm worried and obviously know that i won't give up until she spit out everything.
* Sigh" ok ok i will tell you everything first let our ass get some rest"
" There is no one here just tell me jess"
She gave me a faint smile and started to talk. Now I'm really curious.
" Don't be angry just hear till end"
"Ok" so there is something
" He is a customer in suit 2929"
" From the VIP suit" I asked for confirmation.
" Yeah that's right . Seems like he is a play boy. He ditched a women and he wanted me to clean his mess"
I know rest of the story I'm the only one who witnessed it .
But Wait
" He wants you to clean his mess". Are you kidding me. Its boiling my blood. that's why she tried to hide it from me and she very well know that I'll explode when it comes to things like this.
" Sam just calm down. I can handle this" she patted my back to cool down my frustration.
"Are you sure jess" I'm a bit worried since she is a scaredy cat.
" Leave it to me Sam. I got this. Now let's go and eat something i can hear your naughty tummy cries " she giggled
" And remove your stupid glasses when we are alone " here comes her nagging.
"I don't want any attention you know that"
"You can remove it when we are alone and i can see your beautiful eyes this way"
I tried to distract her while dragging her
" Alright now let's go"
"Hey!"
When we are about to leave someone shouted from behind. We both turned in a sync and looked back.
Speaking of the devil here he comes. The one we badmouthed a seconds ago and just thinking about it I can feel my popping veins.
Wait, was he standing there all this time. No way right.
He suddenly gestured with his hand asking to come over. I blocked Jess and gave her a telepathic message "I got this". We both nodded to each other and I moved closer to him.
" May I help you sir" i bowed and asked
" Hey women"
đcalm down Sam calm down he is just a stupid arrogant ass customer behave yourself and let's get over this sh*t.
Deep breath
" Stop gossiping and Go bring me some whisky"
shoot he heard us
Nonetheless how could he address me 'women'. it's not that I'm a women but still. Whatever, I crushed the rushing anger in my fist and replied.
"Yes sir just a moment. please wait here"
When I'm about to leave he mumbled
"Look like someone is pissed"
I heard it you jerk. I clearly heard it but I'm a mother Theresa when I work.
When I catch up with Jess, she held my hand tight and we walked as fast as we can.
" Even though He is a jerk he is handsome as hell. His perfect white skin with triangular shaped face, one mono lid and one partial double eyelids with sky blue pupil , his round cupid lips everything is perfect". Jess whispered all this in one breath while walking.
Woooow she noticed all these things just now. She is a master of observations. I can even see the dripping saliva through the sides of her mouth. I gave her a glare.
"I can't understand woman how can you fall for someone like him. He have no respect for woman and he is head over heals for himself. Such a jerk and most of all how did you manage to figure out all his features in such a situation" I scolded her and walked fast.
When I finally returned with a glass of whisky he was playing there with his phone. I extended the tray close to his face. He grabbed the glass and walked away without looking at me. Such a jerk " hope you choke with whisky and rest in peace. Amen" I mumbled while walking to where Jess was waiting.
Next day
'Another boring long day' I thought while entering the lobby. Jess came and grabbed me and shouted " Sam we have a meeting in 5 minutes"
Holy sh*t I'm still in my casual dress. I ran with others and quickly changed in to my uniforms .
" It seems like an important announcement" jess whispered while we entering the hall.
I can hear other staffs whispering
" It's about new chairman "
" What about the former one"
"He seems to be sick so his son maybe the new one"
"Awwwwwwww holy Mavis maybe a handsome one " giggles
Every one is excited, except me . Jess was also excited with curiosity.
" Please everyone be quite.
Let me introduce you our new chairman . please sir" the manger announced and looked back.
I was again lost in thoughts . When jess pointed me to look in front I dropped my jaw's . What the f*ck no no no no not him.
"The multi billionaire our new chairman William Adler".
