"Rosaline, happy birthday sweetie, get up it's morning," my mother's sweet voice greeted me. My eyes fluttered open to see my mother dressed and ready for the day, her long brown hair in a braid flowing over her shoulders, her blue-greenish eyes dazzling in the light. My mother was glowing, she always looks so pretty and we'll put together, she had a shape to die, my mother was drop-dead gorgeous, she had long dark brown hair with light brown highlights she had most of the time. I yawned as she stroked my head lightly, I nuzzled into her touch. My little sister Malina bursts into the room "Rose, Happy birthday!" she squeaked as she ran and jumped on me, "hey thanks munchkin," I tell her, as we all started laughing. Our father cleared his throat which made me jump off my bed and pounce on him. "Happy birthday princess"; my father said with a chuckle, he walks over to the bed and puts me down. My father announced he was coming back, taking my mother out the room with him, I watched my mother's small figure compared to my father; He was built with short black hair with highlights he had amber eye which seems to put my mother in a trance if she stared at them for too long and then there was a scar coming down his left hand that reminds us that he had to fight for my mother and the kingdom! Yep, they're the King and Queen, Alpha and Luna. (Dam am I lucky!!) My mother handed me a gift box as my father, little sister and herself sat on my purple chair set. The gift box was sliver with a purple bow. I opened it and I saw a beautiful locket it was silver, not real sliver obviously, it had purple gems encrusted into it and engraved roses. Tears formed in my eyes I placed my locket on the bed and ran over and hugged my parents and sister we all laughed and I wiped my eyes "I lo-" "Alpha the kingdom is under attack!!" Our beta ran into my bedroom, my blood ran cold, my father stood up quickly and his amber eyes fogged he mind linked our warriors; Father kissed me, my mother and my sister's head. "I love you all, if I may die, Rosaline, you are the future queen and Luna of the kingdom. Remember what we taught you". Tears streamed down my face "Daddy, no, please no!" I scream and begged my father he gave me one last kiss before turning to the beta and warrior; "Get them to the safe house!" My father barked I watched as my sister was carried away, I picked my locket and placed it around my neck "Melody!" someone called my mother. *Bang!* I watched in horror as my mother's body collapsed to the floor her hands held close to her chest, tears blurred my vision as I forced myself to look up and move away from my mother's now dead body. My mother's best friend, the woman I called aunty Who had watched me shift for the first time, who I trusted with all my secrets...had just killed my mother before my very eyes. My heart was shattered to pieces. I collapsed back to the floor holding my mother's dead body. Memories flooded back into my head I felt nothing but pain, I couldn't control myself, I started to scream to the top of my lungs ... Every glass in my room broken i looked up to my mother's so call best friend against the wall "wow wtf was that" I said more to myself than someone "Rose-!!!!" *Bang!* Lights out, Princess....
