1 Shinigami

The fore ground was black. it was slowing turning with light so we get to see the human world and the shinigami world.

"I am The Shinigami King. my name's Hunhau. you were thinking what happened to Kira after his death. what happened to Misa after Kira's death. and the most important question Who was L?"

"I will surely answer every one of your questions but you need to listen with much focus. So now before i tell you about L, first you need to know about Shinigami and our world."

a shinigami ( god of death) is the one who manipulates human life and death.however a shinigami cannot intercept a human life due to some love or emotion shit. they also cannot intercept other shinigami life. and a shinigami dies only of affection and love, when it tries to intercept a human life forcefully. but i think you already know that stuff. but what you don't know is birth and life of a shinigami.

When the world was created life was expanding but an infinite expansion can cause different problems. so 937 years after the creation of life and to put a balance the most powerful human started to protect his clan's life by killing the others. this was his greatest mistake. Nature cursed him to something worse than death. he was abandoned from earth and for an eternity. I am that man. I was sent to this void. there's no space and no time. time does not affects a shinigami. it took me more than a thousand years to understand this. then for revenge, I made a cursed relic from my blood, called as Death Note. i dropped 30,000 death notes to the human world. the human society was evolving that time. but soon they realized the power of the book but it was one part only.

"With every power comes a curse"- a saying in our community.

those humans full of anger or lust or jealousy or hunger, took the book to take their revenge. and as soon as they used notebook, i called their names in mine one. well though i don't need one, i have one. and they became the firsts of shinigami but their human feeling was still alive in them so they used Death note to cheat death and save the lives of their loved ones, so, they died. leaving only a few hundreds shinigami. there were those who loved their lives or were full of darkness. they choose to write names as expected, sending them to death. but soon they realized what i realized a long before. the eternity. so many of them killed themselves and the rest became lazy. now we are less than even a few hundreds. shinigami knew how to die but they never knew how they got birth.

In a way, we are kind of immortal. there is no need for us to feed, eat, drink or breath. we do have a heart, as we were humans once but we don't have feelings as these feelings can send us to death.

oh! sorry, i said us. well not us, other shinigami but i was cursed so i can't die. when a shinigami saves someone out of affection, who is not to be saved. they actually make for their mistakes and were sent to rebirth.

So now you know everything you need to know about shinigami. now coming back to the story, it all starts from ryuk. many shinigami loved ryuk. he was one of the new ones. he became a shinigami in 18th century. he behaved modern and cool, so almost everyone liked him. but he was more of a human. he gets bored soon.

That day he came with an apple. i don't from where he got that apple, maybe from human world. he wanted me to taste it. another one of human nature. he still loved to eat. after a long argument, i finally agreed and let me tell you, i never lied. it was really tasty.i ate something after a thousand years. and the taste lasted for long time. i knew from that moment, ryuk got bored and he got to human world which the others don't appreciated. when i asked him why he gave me that apple, he told me that he made a mistake. that he lost his book somewhere and he can't find it. i knew he was lying as i can feel my blood. i knew he has the book and i guessed he's planning something. it took me some moments to understand that he's been planning to go back to the human world, so i asked him, what can i do for him. he asked me for another book in return of an apple. that moment i understood what he's about to do but i never told him that i knew as it was time for another new shinigami. a fun for me too. so i gave him another book. and he said he will return soon with a bunch of apples.

he gave me apples the next day and after a week i got to know that Ryuk's gone to human world.
