2. Woo D. Yuno

Well here we are again, with my five minutes old self.
I was currently looking around looking for my father, the future strongest man alive, the man who can destroy the world with his powerful devil fruit, the one and only Whitebeard, Edward Newgate.
There in this small room, that referencing the side of my mother should be no more than a small bedroom, more likely for small children than for adults, is really small. The only furniture were the double bed that was currently occupied by me and my mother, a small table besides the bed, and on the other side of the room was another small table with two chairs.
This room really was small so I could already see every person that was inside the room, and none were the one I was looking for. No Whitebeard. The only other person besides my mother was the old woman that helped giving birth to me.
„Young Miss, the Young Master is born. I know you are exhausted but we have to start moving soon again, or else they will catch up to us"
„Sigh I know, Aria. Just a moment I want to name my child first."
The woman that was holding me looked at me gently with a trace of exhaustion visible in her eyes. As I looked at her eyes I could see the love and care she held for me.
„Yuno, Your name will be Woo D. Yuno."

Just as I heard my name there was a loud bang and the wall where the table and the two chairs once were, was a huge hole. Inside the hole stood 3 men. All in white, and masked.
„Hmpf! Woo D. Rena. Hand that evil spawn of yours to us, or else you will not like the consequences."
My mother lost a lot of colour as soon as these men appeared. And if I'm not mistaken they should be from CP-0. Just what is my that father of mine doing?
„Over my dead body. Also you know whose son this is no? Don't you fear what he will do once he learns what happened here?"
„Do you really think we are afraid of that man? Even his captain was dealt with by the hero of the marines. Also don't think we are fools, we know that he isn't even aware that you conceived his child or else he would have been here with his character and not out their recruiting his new ‚family'"
Hearing what these people said, my mother lost the rest of her colour.
And I also now finally understand why I can't see that man anywhere. He is simply unaware of my existence. What a bummer, instead of gaining some perks from being Whitebeards son, it's instead a calamity.
In the next moment I feel movement.
My mother handed me to the old woman at the side.
„Hurry Aria, take my son and flee."
After saying that I saw my mother towards the man in white and smashing a fist at his face. But it wouldn't be so easy as I could see the man simply raising his now black fist and blocking the attack of my mother. Then I could hear his nonchalant voice.
„Even though you're one of the offsprings of the Woo D. Family, one of the leading hidden clans in the grandline, but you just gave birth and as a branch member your strength wasn't really that much higher than me to begin with."
Huh what did I just hear? Hidden clans? Since when did hidden clans exist in the One Piece World? I didn't know they existed and now I'm part of one of them? And even one of the leading ones? Just what is going on? So many questions.
„Hmpf. It's true I just gave birth and am not even that strong to begin with but you can't underestimate the instinct of a mother to protect her newborn child."
After she said that, my mothers body suddenly gave of steam and one could smell the scent that's similar to sandalwood, and the aura of my mother suddenly skyrocketed and the masked man was suddenly sent flying, after that she turned to Aria and shouted,
„Quick Aria escape, bring my son Yuno to safety, don't return to the clan, he isn't safe there at the moment, only consider going there after my father returns. Also don't seek that man out, he doesn't know about Yuno and if you go there, who knows what will happen."
She then turned her gaze to me and smiled.
„Yuno my dear, mother won't be able to watch how you grow up, but you can be assured that mommy loves you, you are the light in my life. Don't hate daddy, he doesn't know about you, otherwise he would!d be here. I don't even know if he remembers me. When you return to the clan one day, remember to only trust your grandpa, the other clan members only care about themselfes. Live life to its fullest and do what you want. Also eat your fill always and once you find a person you love and you know she's the one never let her go. Don't repeat the same mistake as me."
Once she finished with her speech she turned to the white masked man and roared as she again charged at him.

I could hear loud crashing sounds that came from outside. But I didn't really bother with them as the words of my mother still echoed in my ears and my tears started to well in my eyes.
„Sigh let's go Young Master."
Boom
In that moment the old woman finished another hole was blasted through the small Wooden room. Another white robed and masked individual arrived.
„Give me that brat!"
He was way more rude and outspoken. As he demanded me while stretching his arm I our direction, firing a shigan an the old woman's shoulder.
Pow
It hit the woman on her shoulder, but no wound couldn't be seen. It seems like this old woman knows haki.
„Sigh sure thing there are always more than one, when CP does an operation."
„Exactly! So hand that brat over. I underestimated you just now, I didn't expect that even the servants of hidden clans know such advanced Haki. But that won't happen again. So hand it over or else I will kill you and take him from your cold corps."
The CP agent was really rude, But it didn't seemed like he was making empty threats.
The Granny only sighed and waved her hand, which alarmed the man and he went fully on guard.
„You sure are energetic young man. But I'm sorry, I can't entertain you. My Lady gave me my orders so I have to go now."
As soon as she finished speaking a black rift formed where her hand passed, and before the masked man could react granny stepped into the rift and disappeared.
The man was shocked, but that zoon turned to anger as he realized that he was tricked by granny.
As for me? Well I was still a bit dumbfounded by the whole series of events.
First I was granted the opportunity to be reborn in my favorite One Piece world. I even got all the wishes I had, even tough they were a bit changed.
Then after I was born I found myself being hunted by CP-0 and before I could process what happened my mother seemed to use some kind of shocking technique to fight the attacker off and I was being carried by an old woman through a spatial tear to an unknown place.

I was awakened from my stupor as I felt a tear hit my face.
As I looked up I could see the old woman Aria crying.
„Sniff I'm sorry My Lady, I'm so sorry, Aria is useless, if Aria wasn't so weak to be only able to bring beings without haki with me through my ability I would have long taken you here. To our save haven."
So its like this. I was originally a bit angry that this old woman, no Grandma Aria hadn't taken my mother and me from the beginning to escape. Turns out that she can only take people without haki with her.
Now my thought went back to my mother.

Sniff.
I also began to cry. That went so long until I cried myself to sleep.

Five years have passed since that fateful day.
I got to learn a lot of stuff.
For example, I and Grandma Aria are currently on a island that is situated in the calm belt, but unlike the island where luffy trained for 2 years this island was relatively peaceful, it was spring years round, so the temperature was always nice and comfortable, the weather was also nice to raise crops.
As for beasts? Well there were some but they were all relatively weak. East blue weak.
So it was the perfect island to live a peaceful isolated live in hiding.
And since it was just around 1491 the marines don't have the seastone coating on their ships yet, so noons can search for us here on the calm belt.
Of course such an isolated lifestyle wasn't really anything good for kids my age. But I'm far from normal. Although I don't have any personal memories from my last life, my mind is still mature, as I can still identify myself as an adult. I don't want to identify as an 86 years old, as that was simply too old for me. So I identify myself simply as an adult mind.
That maturity of mine was of course noticed by grandma Aria and she was worried about it at the beginning and tried to fix me by teleporting with me to busy islands but after she saw no improvement and after we nearly got caught by the CP agents once she gave that up and simply accepted my mindset as a byproduct of having outstanding parents and losing both of them while young.
Now speaking of parents, I came to know of the background of my mother.
And oh boy was I surprised.
I mean I watched one piece around 20 times while I was alive in my last live and the story was even pretty close to its end but I never knew just how deep the waters in one piece were.
My mother is or was a member of the Woo D. Clan, one of the four leading hidden Clans in one piece. And although she was only a branch member and even one of the weaker members of her branch, but she had already high vice admiral level strength.
Apparently the masked guy that came first is the current leader of CP-0 and thus Admiral Level.
My grandfather, the father of my mother, is the leader of the branch of my mother and already low yonko level. Just to show just how strong the Woo D. Clan is. There are 8 branches in total and every leader is low Yonko level, the Main Clan has 12 Elders who each hold the same level of power and that's not all the main clan has 5 Supreme Elders, each having high level Yonko strength 2 Protectors with Peak level Yonko strength and the clan leader with Pirate King level Strength.
And that's only one of the four leading hidden clans. The other three are just as monstrous. Not to mention the various other minor hidden clans, where at least one clan leader with high level Yonko strength presides.
And the reason why no one knows about them or why they didn't overthrow the world government, is because of internal strife, not just between different clans but even in the hidden clans themselves.
That's also why we didn't return to the clan. My grandfather went missing on his tour around the world. So if we were to return then we would have either been killed or treated like slaves, or worse sent to the government by the clan members without the support of my grandfather.
