49 Statue.

Isaac stood up with an exhausted face, ''I almost died... That was idiotic of me...''

He sighed and moved his bangs out of the way. He saw wooden maces lying on the ground— he looked at the info of the weapon and saw that it was only White ranked.

''These would probably only give a dozen White Coins... It is not worth it to waste Inventory space on these items.'' Isaac tried to find other items the Goblins dropped, but they seemed to be very poor. They didn't even drop potions, but Isaac knew that it was a very rare chance of happening.

Isaac walked back to the cave.

He didn't hear any noises, but he still didn't lower his guard. He had his reloaded Flintlock ready, but his worries were to no avail.

He reached the end of the cave. There was only one campfire, a dozen sticks, a few wooden maces, and one small statue.

Isaac curiously picked up the small stone statue.

The stone statue had the curves of a woman, but her face seemed obscure. The hair was tied up in a ponytail, and she was carrying a bow with a quiver on her back. Her body was quite petite, and she seemed to wear some kind of dress, which gave her the best possible mobility, but it enhanced her looks, making her very beautiful.

If the stone statue had facial features, Isaac would be certain that the woman would be a very lovely individual.

*Ding* *Ding*

Isaac heard a familiar dinging noise in his ears and saw messages popping up.

[You have discovered the Statue of Goddess Artemis!]

[1000 -> 4000 XP Earned!]

[LEVEL UP!]

[Level 14 -> Level 15]

Isaac looked at the messages with mouth agape, but then another message popped up.

[Statue of Goddess Artemis Acquired!]

[Statue of Goddess Artemis - Legendary]

''Legendary!'' Isaac shouted with disbelief— his first thought was about selling it to earn wealth beyond everyone's expectations!

But then, another message popped up, which made him look conflicted.

[Goddess Artemis Trusts You To Keep The Statue Safe]

[God Loki Recommends Selling It]

Isaac looked at the statue one more time and put it on his Inventory.

No one knows what decision he made. He sat down on the hard ground and looked at the time remaining.

[41:40...]

Only a little bit over 41 minutes left until his time limit is over.

''Interface...'' He murmured and decided to put his Stat Points before entering deeper inside the forest.

''Next time I will put my stats on agility...'' Isaac murmured and stood up. He cleaned the dirt from his pants and left the cave.

His HP was still low, and it would take at least 5 more minutes before his HP got restored, and if he got even scratched before that, he needed to wait another 10 minutes.

But he didn't have any time left. Even waiting for his HP to get restored would waste valuable time.

But, Isaac got a painful lesson from the Goblins. He underestimated them because of their slow speed, and that almost got him killed.

Isaac didn't want to take any more risks and decided to wait.

5 minutes later.

The long-awaited message popped up.

[You have been unharmed for 10 minutes!]

[Your wounds have been healed!]

''Finally.'' Isaac stood up and started walking deeper inside the forest.

Only 35 minutes remained until his time limit was up.

He hoped to reach Level 16 before having to log out, but it seemed very hard to achieve.

''More Goblins, please.'' Isaac hoped that he would meet more Goblins. They were easy XP, but he did stupid risks, but next time he would be more careful.

The Forest of Unknown was still dark, but the sun was leaving the sky slowly. Soon, the Forest would be pitch dark, and that would make things extremely difficult.

Isaac hadn't tried shooting in the dark before, but he was sure that night time was another weakness for Marksmen.

'The game developers must have known the flaws of this class... But why aren't they buffing it? At this rate, no one will use the Marksman class.' Isaac thought to himself.

He likes the Marksman class a lot, but he is painfully aware of all the weaknesses this class holds.

The advantage the Marksman class had at the start was over— players will get stronger armor and weapons, their levels were also getting higher, making the Marksman class' advantages disappear more and more.

The only good thing about Marksmen is the ability to shoot from a long range and the ability to deal much more damage than other classes.

But Isaac was getting afraid that the things King Klaus said were coming true. Players were getting faster, and the Flintlock pistols weren't exactly quiet— it gave them more than enough time to dodge the bullets.

He again daydreamed and didn't notice that he had exited the forest!

Isaac noticed that the darkness around him had vanished— he looked in front of him and saw a fascinating sight!

In front of him was a small village! Wooden fences surrounded the 100-meter area around the village— there were wooden huts and slightly larger wooden buildings in the middle of the village.

Isaac heard distinct grunting noises coming from the village and saw another message popping up.

[You Have Discovered a Goblin Village!]

[100 XP Earned!]

[Title of Adventurer Increases the XP by 300%!]

[100 -> 400 XP Earned!]
