5 First Player Kill.

The players looked over at Isaac, who had burst from the woods like a madman.

They were about to ask him what was wrong, but they saw the baby wolves following the man. Greed clouded their eyes, and they rushed forward.

''MINE!'' The players shouted while unsheathing their wooden swords and daggers.

The baby wolves didn't give a shit about them and tore through the players with ease.

Their claws caused over 10 Damage with each hit, quickly dropping the player's HP.

Soon the baby wolves were done with the players and once again ran after Isaac.

Isaac turned around and saw that the baby wolves had less HP. It seemed that some of those players had managed to land a few solid hits.

Isaac took another rock from the pouch and placed it in the seat of the rubber band.

He closed his right eye and aimed toward the closest of the Baby Wolves.

''HOOWLL!'' The first wolf leapt into the air aiming to attack Isaac with its pointed teeth.

*SWISH*

Isaac let go of the rubber band just as the wolf's feet left the ground, making it unable to dodge. The rock slammed into the Baby Wolf, killing it instantly.

[-9 HP]

The Baby Wolf turned into pixels and faded from existence.

Only one of the Baby Wolves remained, and it was already close enough to land an attack on Isaac!

The creature opened its tiny jaw and barrelled toward Isaac's leg!

Isaac crouched and jumped to the side, barely dodging the bite.

He landed awkwardly, stumbling a few meters before regaining his balance. Another rock was already in his hand, and he quickly placed it in his weapon.

The Baby Wolf growled, turning to glare at Isaac before attacking again!

*SWISH*

Isaac clumsily let go of the rubber band, but luck was on his side, and the wolf ran right into the rock's trajectory! The projectile slammed perfectly into the head of the small wolf.

The final Baby Wolf faded into hundreds of tiny pixels.

''Whew.'' Isaac collapsed, taking a seat on the hard ground. He was exhausted from all of that running and didn't realize it until the adrenaline faded.

Two screens popped up.

Isaac took a small break before calling out; ''Interface.''

''Only 35 XP remaining...'' Isaac spoke aloud and pushed himself to his feet.

He was about to leave, but he spotted two items lying on the ground nearby.

''Hmm?'' He grabbed the two items.

Isaac threw them both in his Inventory and started jogging toward the village.

He arrived there shortly after. The Guards looked over him before letting him enter the village.

Isaac looked around, trying to find a place to sell the two items he'd received.

He aimlessly walked the streets. One of the storefront windows caught his attention, and he glanced at the reflection that was staring back at him.

'My face is the same...' Isaac thought to himself.

He saw his own flawless face in the window. There was a bit of dirt marring his cheeks, but his skin still remained unblemished.

Isaac didn't notice it before, but many of the other players were eyeing him. He had gotten used to this over the course of his life, but he never thought that the game would mimic his appearance.

'It seems a mask is needed...' Isaac started walking faster, quickly arriving at a nearby Merchant Store.

Isaac entered the building and noticed an old man sitting behind a large, wooden desk.

There was a name hovering over his head [Merchant - Kudos]

Kudos turned his gaze toward the young man, ''Do you want to buy or sell?''

''Sell,'' Isaac replied while walking closer to the desk.

''Show me.'' Kudos said.

Isaac nodded and swiftly pulled out the items he'd received from Baby Wolves, placing them on the desk.

Kudos looked at the items with boredom, ''5 White Coins.''

Isaac agreed.

Kudos took 5 White-colored coins out and handed them over to Isaac.

Once Isaac took them, the coins suddenly disappeared.

''?'' Isaac was confused and chose to open the Interface.

[White Coins: 5]

''Thank you,'' Isaac thanked the man before leaving the building.

Kudos didn't answer. Instead, he placed the items Isaac had given him into a small box and walked them back into the storage room.

Isaac walked along the streets— he saw that fewer players were milling about than there had been earlier.

''I need to level up...''

Isaac made up his mind to get to work and ran toward the forest once more.

This time he wasn't planning to return until he'd leveled up. After that, he needed to sell any items he gathered.

While he was running, he once again passed the players who'd tired themselves out. He did happen to notice that some groups of players had started to form.

Isaac passed them all by and entered the forest, traveling a bit deeper than he had before.

He saw a lot of players fighting against Baby Wolves. There were even some players kill stealing, and arguments were breaking out amongst the groups.

After a few minutes of walking deeper into the woods, he happened across a group of players ganging up on a single wolf. This creature was a bit larger than the three he'd faced before.

It appeared that the players were part of the same party.

Three players worked together to kill the wolf, while two others kept an eye on the surrounding players. There were a few more nearby, obviously looking for a chance to steal the final hit.

Isaac was debating whether or not he should be the one to do it.

''Well... This is only a game,'' He shrugged, taking a rock and placing it in the center of the rubber band.

He aimed the slingshot toward the Wolf.

*Swish*

The rock left the rubber band and pierced through the air. The occupied Child Wolf didn't stand a chance, and the projectile slammed into its head.

The Child Wolf vanished into pixels, leaving a furious party standing in the woods.

''WHO THE FUCK WAS IT?!'' One of the players roared.

Isaac hid behind the tree and smiled at the text that appeared in front of him.

[You Killed Child Wolf!]

[10 XP Earned!]

''GO FIND HIM!'' The leader of the Party roared angrily.

Isaac heard footsteps close to his hiding place.

'Damn!'

Isaac looked around him anxiously. His back was touching the tree, and he had an idea.

'Please work...' Isaac prayed as he started climbing the tree, using the low-hanging branches to his advantage.

Soon Isaac climbed well into the tree, the leaves obscuring him from the enemy player's view.

From his vantage point, he saw a group of two passing under him, looking left and right between the brush.

Isaac took a deep breath— he looked towards the area where the Child Wolf was killed and saw the Party leader stealthily taking the item.

'Sneaky one... I guess these party members weren't your friends...' Isaac chuckled inwardly.

The Party leader looked around, quickly walking away with the item.

Isaac pulled another stone from his pouch and aimed his slingshot. He steadied himself and launched his attack.

The rock flew through the sky and struck the Party leader square in the back of his head. Luckily, he still hadn't recovered from his fight with the Child Wolf.
