All the thrill-seeking jobs are taken by the ones with a simple life is the norm but, when I first looked that man in the eyes, I knew I had to spice up my regime so he would tag along for the case of his life! This so called 'acting head detective' was no more then the common show-off with a higher IQ then the rest of us - rather dumb when it comes to love it seems - and he's peaked my interest after his newest case was told to the public; the headlines called him a blessing from God, I called him a thorn in my side. But that title suits him - being a thorn and all: The 'stupendous' Mr. D. H. Rose was going to be a pain in my ass! Plot: Mara Wilder, a criminal mastermind know as a fearsome man called Alba Rosa, loves to cause London trouble and then help the detectives solve it like their own Sherlock Holmes but, when she’s paired up with a new detective from the states, things seem to be looking up and she might make a new friend on the force! Until he takes the advantage of their bond the wrong way and makes them drift away... But, when Maras’ girlfriend and policewoman, Zaya Dominique, gets a bullet to the chest during a drug bust and quickly hospitalised, she’s determined to find out which cruel bastard nearly killed the love of her life; and on the day she planned to propose of all days! Meanwhile, the detective plans to do his own research which causes the two to flee for the chief of police with their new-found information. However, it seems to affect them both? How odd...
