1 Girl

Colors are something that turns everything we see into a wonderful scenery. They appear on every surface, and they vary in characteristics with one another. They say it is just light that makes the colors, but even with that, it is still a mystery.

One form of mystery is about a child having white eyes. Doctors were confused on why her eyes were white. But even with her white eyes, she could see. The only problem is that she couldn't see what other colors looked like. When asked, she answered that everyone and everything only had two colors, white and black.

The story goes on as she was adopted by the hospital. There, they ran check ups on the girl and observed her behavior every day. Her actions did not differ from other children and she was kind to both men and women, young and old. She grew without parents, but the doctors and nurses there guided her in her colorless world.

"I saw a thing. Its shape didn't stop changing and there was more than black and white too it."

During an interview, she answered that when she was asked if she saw something new. The doctors were pleased knowing that she wasn't fully blind to color. But, that only made the doctors baffled even more. What had the girl seen that was strong enough that she could see colors. When they continued to ask her, she answered that she had found it in the morgue.

One day, a new doctor entered the hospital. He wasn't as kind as the other doctors, but he was dedicated to his work. When he found out about the girl, he quickly asked her about the things she saw and the things she was seeing now. The girl answered the same as when others asked, nothing new for the other doctors to be surprised of.

Days passed and the new doctor had disappeared. Thinking that he might've gotten sick, they ignored his absence. But more days passed and he did not appear. What's more, with the increasing of patients, they needed more doctors to tend to them. They asked his house but his wife replied that he had not gotten back after entering work at the day he disappeared. The room in his house and the workplace he used in the hospital were inspected, but they didn't find a clue to where he had gone. As the mysteries of his disappearance continued, an investigator appeared. He asked each doctor and each nurse on what they were doing during the time he disappeared. Since a few days had passed, some weren't able to give an answer right away. The investigator noticed that the hospital was taking care of a girl and he questioned the girl as well. Compared to the answer the others provide, it was the most mysterious and surprising one of all.

"I don't know where the doctor went. But during that day… umm… I think I saw a crying man near the lake behind the morgue. It was weird, it was the second time I saw something not just black and white."

The investigator was confused on what the girl said, but the doctors knew that it was something crucial. The doctors told the investigator about the story behind the girl with white eyes. Knowing that it might be a clue, the police came afterwards and began surveying the lake. On that day, the body of the new doctor was found beneath it, he was dead and was undergoing decomposition. His family was notified about it and everyone mourned that he was now gone.
