Author's Notes

Before starting, I would like to state that this novel is in fact a horror novel. There is definitely romance, and even some spicy R-18 sex scenes, so if you are looking for a sweet innocent read, please skip this. 

Our protagonist struggles with an intense darkness within herself that she does try to resist, but despite herself, she still on occasion gives in to the dark urges and does some very morally questionable things including violence and murder. She also tries to take her own after doing something terrible and it may be hard for some to read.

As for our male lead, he does touch on the topic of being abused both mentally and physically by his former master and there will be mention of SA (but don't worry, our protagonist helps him get revenge). Please keep this in mind If that is something you would like to avoid. Your mental health is important, so do take care.

Fun fact: our protagonist was inspired by the song Darkside by artist Neoni.
