Chapter 1: Locked in Darkness with a Mysterious Visitor

Ebba trembled as she felt the cold metal of the cell door slam shut behind her. It was pitch black, and she couldn't see anything. She stood there, frozen, for a few moments, until her eyes began to adjust to the darkness. She could make out the faint outline of a bed in the corner of the cell, and a bucket on the other side.

Days passed, and Ebba's situation didn't improve. She was still alone in the dark cell, with nothing to keep her company except for her own thoughts. Her body was weak from lack of food and water, and her mind was starting to play tricks on her.

She began to see things in the darkness - shapes and shadows that seemed to move on their own. Sometimes she heard voices, whispering in her ear, telling her to give up and let go.

But she refused to give up. She was a survivor, and she had been through worse than this. She was determined to find a way out of the cell, no matter what.

One day, as she was lying on the cold stone floor, she heard a noise that made her heart leap with hope. It was the sound of footsteps, coming from somewhere outside the cell.

It was only when she heard the sound of footsteps approaching that she realized she wasn't alone. Fear crept over her, and she wondered who it could be. She thought about calling out, but decided against it. Whoever it was might not have had her best interests at heart.

The footsteps stopped outside her cell, and she could hear the sound of a key turning in the lock. The door creaked open, and she saw the silhouette of a tall, muscular man wearing a strange, demonic mask.

"Who are you?" she asked, her voice shaking.

The man didn't answer. Instead, he stood there, staring at her with cold, unblinking eyes. Ebba backed away, feeling a chill run down her spine. She wondered what kind of person would wear such a mask, and what he was capable of.

As the man approached, Ebba could see that his body was covered in black clothes that made it impossible to tell what he was wearing underneath. She wondered what he was hiding.

"What do you want from me?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

The man didn't answer. Instead, he stood there, watching her with his piercing gaze. Ebba felt a twinge of fear run through her, and she wondered if she would ever make it out of the cell alive.

For several moments, they stood there in silence, locked in a tense standoff. Ebba tried to calm herself, reminding herself that she was no stranger to fear.

But the man in the mask was different. He exuded an aura of danger and mystery that made her feel uneasy. She wondered what kind of person would wear such a mask, and what he was capable of.

As they stood there, locked in their silent confrontation, Ebba noticed something odd about the man's stance. His body seemed tense, as if he was restraining himself from doing something.

"What do you want?" she asked again, her voice shaking.

The man still didn't answer. Instead, he simply stood there, watching her with his piercing gaze.

Ebba felt a twinge of fear run through her, and she realized that she was in the presence of a man who was both dangerous and unpredictable. But even as her heart raced with fear, she knew that she couldn't give up. She had to be strong.

And so, she squared her shoulders, and stared the man in the mask straight in the eye. The man suddenly takes out a book from his back and opens it with the nimble of his long fingers. He utters a sentence, though his voice seems so cold that it has come from the deepest part of hell.

"Ebba, with no surname found. Crime of Theft and Murder of several High Officials. Is that you?"

Ebba looks at the man with a piercing gaze and a tear falls down from her eye as she shouts loudly.

"Th-They killed MY WHOLE FAMILY"

The man seems unaffected, he raises his leg and smacks it on her jaw making her fall. His cold voice echoes again.

"Only, Yes or no. I don't need nonsense."

Ebba shivers in anger and sadness, but she can only swallow her pride in front of this man. She says in gritted teeth.

"Yes."

The man stared at her for a moment before turning on his heel and leaving the cell. As he walked away, the sound of his leather shoes echoed in the darkness.

He closed the gate, and Ebba was left alone once again, her mind racing with questions. Who was this mysterious man, and what did he want from her? She couldn't shake the feeling that he was dangerous and unpredictable, but she knew she had to be strong in order to survive.

Suddenly, the man slipped a plate of food and water through the bars of the cell. She eyed it warily for a moment before diving in, hungry and thirsty after days of deprivation. As she ate, she couldn't help but wonder when she would see the man in the mask again and how she could take her revenge.

The encounter had left her shaken, but she knew that she couldn't let fear rule her. She would survive, no matter the cost for murderers of her family who are still alive roaming free.
