Right now they were standing in a corner while police were questioning everyone.

"Can you tell us what you know about that robbery Mr Smith?" asked the head while Victor was noting down all the details told by the staff. They both were questioning all the people around.

"I was in the hotel at that time. The meeting was just finished and I went into my office when I took the call that my mother was burned In the fire and they didn't even find her body." He replied with a quivering voice.

"Oh, but isn't it strange that they found everyone's body although burnt badly. But only your mother's body was missing?" She asked again

"How do I know that officer? I must ask you that. I was not present there but you must have checked CCTV footage of that day." He asked in a very low and dangerous voice.

"Well, We did. But most of the tapes were burned badly. so, the footage is not clear enough. And the three people who were saved, one was telling that your mother teleported them out. One moment they were inside and another moment they were out.

While the other two said they were pushed out through the window. But the robbers noticed it and that's why the whole incident happened." At this Leo clenched his hand so bad, blood started to drip because of the pen he was holding. Still, he didn't feel any pain. His eyes were burning like hellfire. Yet his body was releasing a very cold and dangerous aura. Everyone in the room felt a chill around them. Victor noticed the question and the change in the temperature of the room. And if that really would have been the case why haven't the other two survivors said the same thing?" He asked like he is amused to hear the rubbish.

"So did anyone get any important information?" Asked Chloe to come out.

"No, they said similar things like they knew Mrs Smith for a long time and they never heard or seen about vanishing or teleportation." Replied all the three other members.

"Looks like there is nothing much we can do in this case." She said disappointed. She knows there is something, her gut feeling is telling but she doesn't know what it is? And she can't let her people suffer because of it.

"Why don't we ask patients after a few days. Maybe they could tell us about something." Asked Victor. He wants to know more about this case. Chloe smiled, she liked him the day he joined the dept.
