Forever yours...

She squealed and jumped excitedly, there was a big goofy smile on her face. In Fact she was sure she was going to lose. But unexpectedly she won, 'yay! I never thought I could win against him.' "See, I won, I won." She hugged him with a smug look.

While he just smiled and shook his head. It's so easy to make this girl happy, who would believe this little dancing girl was princess Cynthia. The same stoic girl whose all muscles would hurt even if she smiled. He didn't realize when this city had become their small cozy heaven. That apartment felt more like home then those castles. There was something here which gave them peace, maybe because they were far away from their formalities. He just Chuckled at the thought of clicking her pictures, and blackmailing her later, but still he took many of them secretly.

And at last when her energy level decreased a bit, he gave his hand to her for hold, which she took and wrapped with her arms, on which he just Chuckled and shook his head again.

The owner was also as happy as them. He earned quite a bit, from the bet or should he say from the foolishness of the boy. (If only Victor knew how much he would be hurt with this promise he would not have lost knowingly. But that's for the future)

So right now they were standing in front of the gift section and choosing theirs. Although all the gifts belong to them, they can't take as many with them. So they decided to only take three, one for each of them.

"I think you should take that golden bird for Valerie, it suits her, and that wolf for you." He raised a brow at her, for further explanation. He could understand the golden bird for Valerie as she was the only one in the kingdom who could fly with her golden wings, but why was he a wolf! "Why wolf?" he asked, when she didn't reply.

"Oh, then how about that fox, afterall you are one sly fox." She said bobbing her head with a glee, like this was the best decision she has ever made. "And I will take that Cinderella."

"No, that kitten will suit you better." Victor said pointing at the kitten which had a Cheshire grin on its face. And before she could argue, he had already asked the owner to give them three plush toys and keep others as they didn't want so many.

"But I wanted that big panda, It was kind of cute." She complained, when he dragged her with him. She was turning again and again to look at the panda. She really wanted that! While looking at her pout, Victor just smiled and rubbed her hairs. "We won't be able to hold it and enjoy the festivities, We can always win another one later on.

Or else you want me to use my power here. Hmmmm" the last line was just like a whisper in her ears, which brought a certain kind of itchiness in her. Her stomach flipped, there was a knot in her body which pained whenever he came too close.

 For a moment she forgot about what they were talking about, so she just nodded her head to get away with his question,so that he could go back a bit and she could breathe again.

He smiled knowingly while looking at her red ears. God! she was looking so tempting that his Adam apple bobbled. He wetted his bottom lips through his tongue, which increased the heat in Cynthia. Her face turned crimson. " I am feeling hungry." She said, trying to change the topic.

But he eyed her intensely, and said "me too" God! What did he mean? It didn't look like they were talking about the same food. "Then why don't we eat?" she asked Looking at the stalls.

"I want to, but you won't let me," he said, still lost in his thoughts. But when she coughed, he came back to his senses. "I ...i mean, didn't you say we will wait for Valerie. " he said scratching the back of his head and giving a nervous laugh.

"Oh, then call her, and ask when would she be here?" He nodded and picked up his phone to call his sister while praying in his mind, 'tell me you are busy.' ' tell me you are busy.'

"Hey Vale, Where are you? We have been waiting since a long time, and now we are hungry." 

"Oh is that so, then do you want to meet us or work separately."

"Okay then, See you at the entrance later" "Yeah, You too take care." He ended the call with a glee. But then coughed and tried his best to mask seriousness 

"Uhh, Valerie just called and told she is with her office friends and can't join us, she will meet us at the entrance while going back home."

"Oh, then let's go." She said holding his hands which brought a smile on his face. Just a few days ago it took so much coaxing to hold her hands, and now she was doing it more and more naturally.

"Two hot dogs" he paid the stall owner and turned towards the girl who was standing behind him.

 "what else do you want?" He asked her gently.

"I want that, and that, and this, and that also." She pointed almost at every possible thing.

He looked at her surprised. For sure they won't be able to finish everything, but still when he saw her gleaming eyes full of anticipation, he bobbed his head and bought everything.

Skewers, grilled meat, hot dogs, rice cakes, sweet candies, plums, sodas, fritters, noodles, everything was laid on the table. And when she was eating to her heart content, he was just looking at her and her small actions.
