8 Chapter Wyth (8)

Tammy looked at her husband. "Tom, are you sure we shouldn't wake them and say goodbye?" She glanced at the door, to their room, once Benny's room. Had they let them sleep together too young? She had originally intended for it to last a few nights, the first few. When it was unclear how Jayden would handle his sudden departure from his father's life. Jayden never took it as bad as she had feared. She worked as a therapist in her own practice. She had always been interested in 'shirking' people, and after she had Benny, she started her own practice, for the flexibility. She knew, deep down, Jayden was hurting, he just needed to let it out. She realized she needed to take her own advice and not worry, they were old enough to be alone for a day.

"You worry." Tom chuckled.

"I know I just thought of that." She sighed and glared at Tom. She hated it when he was right, before her, made her think her degree was pointless.

"We left a note, and money for pizza and they know we will be gone when they wake up."

"What do you think they will do all day?"

"Really?" Tom chuckled. "Do you want to think about what they are going to do, two teenage hormonal boys, alone all day?"

She chuckled at her stupidity. "The cute thing about it..." She paused at the ironic word choice. "Is they probably think we don't suspect that is on their mind."

Tom chuckled. "Is that your professional opinion?"

She nodded. "I have had families, bring their teens in cause they think they are sexually active, and the kids all are clueless about being busted. Don't you remember being that young?"

"I wasn't as confident as Benny is." He chuckled. He hit the button on the Keurig and waited for his coffee.

"Besides, They already did that." She smirked.

"Really?"

"A mother knows." She smirked and took his To-go mug, and went to the car.

"Hey, It's too early for games." Tom grunted.

She smirked. "Jayden isn't the only one who likes to play coy."
