(WE NEED TO TALK)

CO'S POV

I asked Captain Oliver to return back to the hospital without me as I had some work to do here. After he left, I went straight towards John's office and knocked on the door, he asked to come in. I entered the office and without wasting a single second I asked him.....

'Are you free, we need to talk regarding Aubrey.'

'Oh, Benjamin it's you, come sit and talk and I surely would like to say your cadet is the best intern that I have ever seen so far' said John.

'Is this the reason why you are treating her like this?'

'What do you mean by like this, did something happened, tell me in detail please?'

'Yeah that girl worked nonstop for 22 hours straight without water, food or any break, and fainted in the morning in front of me when I came to see her, she is was on drip when I came here. Is that how you treat interns John and if yes then I better change her hospital for internship. Can you believe it, she fainted and she is the strongest cadet that I ever had and she fainted?'

'Oh, I am sorry Benjamin, I was not knowing anything about this, but the question here is why did she work for 22 hours.' asked John with shock.

Then I told him everything about that women, the one under whom she is doing her internship, who made Aubrey work all day, I asked him to change her team leader and he complied with he and said he would do that immediately, I also asked him to let her wear her uniform to work.

'Aubrey has spent her Blood, Sweat and Tears for that uniform John, let her wear it, I know it is a civil hospital that is why you are worried but believe me all it would is help, cause everyone trust in uniformed people.'

'I understand Benjamin, she can I will tell her this personally, how about I give her today's leave to rest.' asked John.

'She must be home by now, I asked her to go as she looked tired, I hope you don't mind it?'

'Not at all Benjamin, you did right, she should rest.' said John approving.

'Ok then I guess my work here is done, I'll be leaving no. Bye John.'

'Bye Benjamin.'

I reached for the handle of the door to close it after me but before that, I reminded Vinay....

"She is not someone whom we could go against John, she has higher up's backing her, and by higher up's I mean very high people, and even that girl is not aware of the fact. Make sure your staff keep their hands to themselves, now we don't want someone to get hurt, do we, bye Vinay, I hope you have a nice day."

And with that I closed the door behind me.

CHIEF'S POV

It was all good till he said the last sentence, there are higher up's backing her, but what does he mean by it, but if he said it I don't doubt a single word, he has always been right, no matter what situation, I fully trust him and if he thinks me and the staff should be careful, then we need to, but under which doctor should I put her, oh yes he said he wanted her in his team, he is best at handling such kind of problems, he is best for this.

I took out my phone from my pocket and called him "Hello, yeah listen do you remember that girl who was in Dr. Dayana's team, I have decided to change her team, she will be now in your team, yeah Ohk, and she will be joining your team from tomorrow, bye, take care"

Then I called Dayana to inform her too...

'Hello, Dayana.'

'Yes uncle, I mean sir.'

'Listen Dr. Aubrey won't be in your team anymore. I have changed her team.'

'What, but why sir, what happened suddenly and I was about to call you to inform you that she has not even reported to me today.'

'Yeah, she is on leave today, and from tomorrow she will be reporting to her new team leader.'

'But why sir, did she say something to you.'

'No, she didn't, but Dayana you are like daughter to me so listen to me and I seriously don't want you to get into any other trouble, and when I say trouble I mean her.

Aubrey's POV

After meeting with CO sir, I went home as he asked me to. As soon as I arrived home I was greeted by my favorite pizza, but I did not order it but then Unni called me and told me that our Commanding Officer has called her and told her everything and asked her to take care of me, so as soon as I ate my food I went straight to bed. I was sleeping, in my room, on my bed, which was my eternal love, who says you can't love non-living things, please don't say such nonsensical things or mi amor(my love - Spanish) will feel bad,{have I ever told you, that I, your lovely author had taken Spanish lessons in 8th standard, I guess never, but wait I just did tell you, huh you are so forgetful, maybe you need to meet our awesome Lieutenant Aubrey Huxley for consultation and she might even give that to you for free, so keep reading}, it was when my phone pinged and I was forced out of my thoughts, when I opened it, it showed a message from John sir and it was like this…

Dear Aubrey, I hope you are fine now, your CO told me about everything that happened and I am truly sorry for that and on request from your CO, I have made some changes and I thought you should know. You are allowed to wear your uniform but still I will be glad if you could wear casuals too as you know this is a civil hospital and your team leader has been changed, now you will be doing your internship under Dr. Daniel Brown. I hoped you met him yesterday. Have a good sleep and come tomorrow all refreshed.
