When did it become this easy to become a vampire?

"That…It's ok. You can sort out what happened afterwards. And you shouldn't worry too much, it will affect your health, so go home and try your best to adapt to your situation. And also don't go out too much these days, there is going to be Regeneration war. So going out means literally dying!" That young man smiled brightly.

"Ahh…mister, why are you helping me?" Ji Yanmeng knew that not many people would help her without any specific reasons or any other benefits or something and if what the young man saying is true than Ji Yanmeng should be grateful to him as he enlightened her.

But our vampire clan, now doesn't have many members now and you have just converted, so that means you are a new-born vampire. So, I am just doing my job as a dutiful senior.

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself and just started blabbering nonsense. By the way, I am Baili Cheng. What about you?"

Ji Yanmeng smiled politely, "I am Ji Yanmeng, a college student. Mr. Baili, thank you, for your advice, I will remember them."

"No need to be this polite, just call me Brother Cheng. After all we are from the same clan now," Baili Cheng grinned.

Currently, Ji Yanmeng was feeling a bit complicated, but she told herself that it is normal to convert into vampires but Baili Cheng told her that only stronger vampires can convert the human into vampires but the stronger vampires need to make the new-born vampires into their own cub? Ah, so confusing! Ji Yanmeng thought silently.

Ji Yanmeng soon went home because the sky was getting dark and it is bad for a young girl like her to stay outside this late. Who knows, what kind of accidents might happen?

And, it has a very complex design and a lots of narrow stairs, which really irritates her. Ji Yanmeng sighed and climbed up the long stairs. She was currently feeling very exhausted as all day she hardly ate anything and strolled in the market.

Ji Yanmeng took out her door keys and was about to insert the key in to open the door but suddenly she heard a loud 'bang' noise from inside. It was a really loud noise, so it could be easily heard from outside.

'Only I have the keys for the house, then could it be a thief or something like a serial killer?' Ji Yanmeng widened her eyes in realization.

She instantly froze and frowned. Ji Yanmeng could feel her heart becoming cold; it was fear. She could only think of two things to so: first, run as fast as you can and then, call the police!

But, before she could do any of them in complete actions, the door flung open…

Boom!

Ji Yanmeng nearly fell on her bum from where she was standing.

Just as she was about to run away, an oppressive force unbaled her from doing any further actions.

"OMG, why can't I move in this scary situation! What the fudge!" Ji Yanmeng muttered while standing there like a wooden block.

She didn't want to turn around. NOPE! NO! NO!

If the person wanted to kill her then just kill simply, why did they need to scare her like that.

Suddenly, the person behind her spoke in with a expressionless face: "I am here now for you now, you don't have to wait anymore- "

Before he could finish speaking properly, Ji Yanmeng broke through the oppressive force and ran along the stairs but the heavens simply didn't support her but instead, the heavens were naturally against her today.

What a bad luck!

That guy behind her once again used his invisible force to prevent her from falling down, but…..she just tripped over the stairs and hit her head on the ground.

It looked like a minor injury, but unfortunately, it was a major injury because she got the injury on her head and she fell down from stairs which is vey long and narrow.

Even though, she is a vampire now but Ji Yanmeng was still a vampire without any extraordinary abilities, just like human but a but more advanced like in a form.

But the most odd thing was that, the man there was standing with a dumbfounded and complicated emotion.

"Why did she jump from the stairs….didn't I just say that I was here to pick her up," if Ji Yanmeng was here, there will be only one thing for her to say after seeing his face, which is: seriously very…very…very handsome!

And there is another thing she would do, which is regret. Yep, regret, she thought that she was going to die but little did she know that the man was there to pick her up...

That mysterious man sighed and in a flash he was standing in front of Ji Yanmeng's corpse and he then picked her up in a bridal style carry. And in the next moment he was no where to be seen.
