1 Time-Traveling

The evening shadows deepened into blue and purple. The fiery sun was sinking towards the far horizon, the pitiless white ball now an angry orange.

The last bit of daylight began to drain away slowly.

The shadows slipped up the rocks as though the world were drowning into to the darkness.

And slowly the white-dazzling moon hung on the dark night sky, brightening up the inky blackness.

It was really a mesmerizing night…

There was young maiden laying inside the coffin, yep it is a coffin. Well, you might be thinking it is a funeral right? But, no, this is not definitely a funeral…

But a revival of the first generation vampire ancestor…

The vampires are really protective of their own race and respects their ancestors. They are also very powerful and their most advantageous thing about being a vampire is that they are all immortals; eternal lives….

And today the whole miraculous world is here to see the first generation vampire ancestor probably out of respect, envy and fear.

Ah, now you might be thinking that what the hell is the miraculous world, right? And where is our mother world, Earth?

The miraculous world is one of the most newly discovered planet and is the home to about many species including vampires, mermaids, elves, dwarves, fairies, witches, dragons, goblins, angels, celestial cultivators and the demons. There are also other races but they are not that common as other races.

And…the Earth was destroyed 15 million years ago during the great war between all the race, with the expectation of Vampires. Originally the population of vampires are very less and many vampires can't reproduce and it is very rare if they do.

But there were many vampires, who were killed and the population of vampires reduced even more. The whole Miraculous world came here because they need to pay respect to the vampire ancestor.

Afterall, the vampire one of the most strongest race and the vampires might make a big fuss if the others don't pay any respect to the ancestor.

Meanwhile, everyone was standing row by row in front of the white majestic coffin. No one dared to speak or let out a single sound, but the silence was very suffocating that they couldn't breath openly.

But the Vampire King was standing there like a lifeless wooden statue, not moving at all.

Suddenly, the young maiden in the coffin slowly opened her eyes as her eye-lashes gently fluttered. The young maiden got out of the coffin and stood on the ground and examined everyone around her.

On the other hand side, the whole miraculous world was thrilled by the beauty of the Vampire ancestor.

The vampire ancestor was just stunning beyond words….

She had a tall queenly-figure with a slender waist. The young maiden had a flawless, glossy skin. She had crescent-shaped eyebrows of midnight-black. Her big silky lashes fluttered over her sharp phoenix eyes.

She had pink-dedicate ears over her concave cheekbones. The girl had a dainty nose with blossom-pink lips. She had stiletto shaped fingernails and a coracle-perfect chin. Her obsidian-black hair flowed over her shoulder as if it was the mother nature's waterfall.

"Where…am I?" she had a melodious gentle voice, which could cause many cities and countries to downfall.

"Ancestor, you are finally woke up from your deep sleep," Aiden, the grand elder of the vampires, said with a benevolent smile. He is a 28th generation vampire. Currently, vampires only have those from the 27th generation to somewhere around the 100th generation.

"Ancestor…but I am Ji Yanmeng," Ji Yanmeng said with a bewildered expression on her beautiful face.

Yeah, our vampire ancestor's name is Ji Yanmeng. But, she is not from this time line rather back when the Great War on was happening and she is also from Earth as well.

But the only thing is that our ancestor time-travelled after she fell down from the stairs. How about this I tell you Ji Yanmeng's story.

Ji Yanmeng, a normal college student, lived a tranquil and stable life. Her parents passed away in a car accident when she was around the age of 5, and since then her grandmother raised her single-handedly.

But in those recent days, she couldn't focus on her studies nor could she concentrate on her work. Ji Yanmeng was constantly showering with a bunch of problems.

Her troublesome period, which comes every month also came to a direct pause. How weird!

So, Ji Yanmeng went to the doctor for a health check-up to see if anything was wrong with her, but the result was that, nothing was out of ordinary; everything was completely fine with her…..

She thought that it might be because she over-exhausted herself.

Nope, Ji Yanmeng's thought was completely wrong, because after day by day passed by, she couldn't get a bit of sleep properly and which is causing her to have constant headaches.

And her appetite, don't even mention about it…

Everything tasted like dust, her favourite food become the food she takes least liking to.

Meanwhile, the Ji Yanmeng, who was suffering, went out to have a stroll in the market. She looked around and bought some homely necessities.

Suddenly, she was a attracted by a delicious smell. Literally, she was now drooling…

"My appetite has not been good these couple of days, but now there is something that smells this good from the distant area, imagine how tasty will it be if I eat it.." Ji Yanmeng turned around to spot a shop, where the aroma of the food was coming from.

The shop looked nothing special; the products were also quiet common.

At least, this is what Ji Yanmeng thought so.

After carefully pondering for a moment, Ji Yanmeng ventured inside the shop and looked around and spotted the where the smell was coming from.

Ji Yanmeng face instantly went ashen, as she looked at the red liquid inside the plastic bottle.

"Hey young sister, do you need any help?" Ji Yanmeng saw a young boy in his early 20's, widely smiling at her.

"Yeah..-yes. Mister, what is this red liquid?" She pointed at red liquid in the bottle.

The young man's smile immediately faded away and hesitated before speaking, "Miss, this is the blood of duck, and are you recently have any problems like having amnesia or total change in appetite and are attracted by this duck blood," and listed a bunch of symptoms, which are happening to Ji Yanmeng.

Ji Yanmeng bit her lip and nodded.

"Younger sister, do you know that you are dead?" The young man asked with seriousness in his eyes.

Ji Yanmeng thought that the lad was doing some sort of prank on her but after facing the seriousness on his face, she shook her head.

"Ok, it is like that you have probably heard of vampires, right? And your obsession with blood can also be explained like this that sometime the other vampires help ordinary humans to convert into vampires, so did something like that happened?" The boy looked at her and smiled.

"No…these days, I was home and didn't go out," Ji Yanmeng was really conflicted.
