10 WORTHY (ACT 4)

ACT 4: WORTHY

Alarm was ticking non stop, Rohan stretch his arm in try of reaching it. He took the clock and spend a good time looking at it, before saying

"OH MY GOD! How can I be this late, but wait today is weekend. Ha! I worry for nothing, but wait! What about breakfast? I hadn't made one. Father must be starving"

After examining every room in his resident, he came to realise something. His father wasn't at home! But, he had left a note behind, about some urgent meeting he had to attend today, so Rohan can eat breakfast without him. After reading the note, Rohan goes into kitchen. Despite being weak at almost everything, cooking was something he's very good at. He cuts the onions with a flashing speed. He breaks the eggs without even a waste left behind and within in minutes, he have an omelette on table. With this level of skill he can easily join Totsuki academy. Rohan switch on the TV while eating his omelette. Despite everything was in Japanese, he was able to understand it, and that was all thanks to Chika's tutorials. While watching TV, Rohan space out for a moment and yet again began to remember, what Kyosuke told him, before tele phone ringing interrupted it. Rohan comes back to his senses and quickly answered it

"Hello, Rohan!? You there?"

"Yes, I'm here, is there something you need, Father?"

"Yeah. Now listen close to me, I need you to do a very important task!"

Rohan was thrilled about his father giving him a job. Moreover, an important one. Rohan's father never put any responsibility on his shoulder, more like it he don't want to, because of his clumsy ness. So this was a big opportunity for Rohan to prove himself. He spoke with confident

"YES! I'll do it, whatever it is, I will complete it"

Afterwards his father explain the situation. Basically he had to deliver a laptop, his father forgot. That laptop contain everything about deal they've made. It looks like an easy job, but also little bit of trusty side. Rohan instantly get ready into well looking clothes. And because of TV broadcast, he knew, rain might happen, keeping that in mind, he picked a rain coat and wrap the laptop into plastic bag and then, he left with the fire in his belly. He had to be quick, fast enough to deliver before other party comes, in thus, he ran with all his might. While he was at it, rain eventually began to fall, even after. His speed wasn't slowed. Rohan was running straight, but then he recall a short cut that chika thought him. He immediately took the turn and continue his run. Suddenly a speedy car pass by in a flash. Rohan spun quickly, putting his back on roadside, covering the laptop form muddy water. When car goes into distance, he looked at the laptop before taking deep long breath of relief. He turned around to continue the journey, but! What he saw in front of his eyes was something…

"I-I Love you, go out with me"

(Thumb!) Kyosuke held her tightly. Her expressions was somewhat confused, until reacting to voice of something dropping. Her expression became dark after witnessing what before her. The laptop he carried was on ground, water were entering the bag. His eyes wasn't sparkling. Their eyes met, but words could not be spoken. He silently spun around and walked into opposite direction. Her expression get even more darken, in thus she ran behind him without giving a second thought. She stretch her hand towards him in try of reach his arm, but when she did, he immediately stops her by shrinking them. He said coldly

"Please… Don't…"

Before turning around and walk away, he took a glance on her. Her face was drowned by despair. Rohan felt heavy guilt inside, but step of his wasn't stopped, when he goes into distance, his lips moved with a very shallow voice

"Kyosuke, you were right… I shouldn't be with her"

After saying that, he take a trip down memory lane. The man stands in front him, ask him boldly

"Let me ask this one last time. How you do feel about her?"

"I-I don't k-know? I-I just wants to be with her"

The silence were on top of the conversation, then a reply comes in within minutes

"…Rohan you can't be with her, you are not worthy of her…"

Those word stab the soul of Rohan. What person in front him said, was just a self opinion, yet Rohan felt somewhat truth in it. He dare not speak back to him. The moment was dead silent, but Kyosuke spoke to continue

"Stay away form her because if you don't. you're going end up hurting her most. And that wound might never recover…"

He came to present and yet said the same thing

"You were completely right, Kyosuke. I end up hurting her…"
