3 THE GULLIBLE AND THE GILT, THE PATH OF THE LOST.

This girl, why do I feel like I know her from somewhere? They were out of hair due to the vigorous activities just few seconds ago yet Jeff suppressed it and demanded an explanation.

"My problem is with you am not after your family, I wasn't part of this group I followed when I saw the pictures and your was there am sorry but they are only messengers ...it's work, money and nothing else.

I know the one that gave the order though ,but for whom I don't" She was getting impatient and so was Jeff

"Why were you looking for me?"Feeling uncomfortable he stared briefly at her the looked away.

"Let's get out of here handsome then I will tell you all I know" She was getting too comfortable around him

He was just a confused man , heart broken and frustrated at the pace things were moving.

"The police was here ,the place is sealed as a crime scene why is it not guarded?" He was not talking to anyone in particular but she heard him.

"Dude, don't you know? ! your enemy is big"Shaking her head sadly she continued "I am booked at Wanaruanas , am taking you there for now.Once am done with you we can go our separate ways. Now make no mistake and lead the way out."Jeff let the girl order him around hoping to get the most out of this hostage situation. Ignoring the noise in his head took long steps towards the door.

He was so quiet perhaps this was what he wanted-girls will alwas break the silence ,the girl started talking she was a chatter box and he was not going to stop her .Out of all her chattering the only information he got was tha she knew nothing about the reasons for the murder and that she had looked for him all her life.

Why then was she looking for him? He was curious yet not letting it show.

She, being the only one holding a gun, Jeff had no choice but lead the way ,heading to the door ,he was about to but before he could open it, he was grabbed by a strong arm, she pulled him roughly and shushed him then they waited hidden by the opening gate."what are you doing?"She questioned him aiming at the intruder , Jeff wanted to see who it was but before he could get a gleams of who it was the girl aimed,shooting him dead instantly, Jeff caught him as he was falling and laid him down carefully his tummy felt upset and a wave of nausea overcame his calm, he threw up then sat down near the bleeding body looking pale, him mouth agape with shock of seeing yet another one of his own die.

He turned to look at her and she was so calm and at peace with herself as if it was a normal thing to do

'she is crazy, how can a crazy woman look for me with this aggression ,killing everything on her way to meet ?' he furrowed his eyebrows and swallowed hard then got up.

huh,and how did he know this place? his boys already delivered the proof he asked yet he came to confirm who is he working for?... or could it be...."she was talking too much and she realized, shutting up her mouth with her own hand she turned to face Jeff who had his tall bodyframe supported by the wall unable to stand upright, his hands clenched on his tummy tightly like he was about to puke again, she watched him agitated by this look then shouted at him.

"Get a hold of yourself, are you going to do that again what are you! a baby?let's get the he'll out before more intruder find us,and walk faster or else I will kill you before I get what I want and I will be disappointed"

"What, are you kidding me? bwaa ha ha ha a a, you are hurting my tummy with laughter, this is hilarious how can a grown up man want his mother at this time ,don't you know that you let her die? yes you stood there and allowed her to die and now you want her?! keep walking, walk , you are beginning to get into my nerves"she was heartless and insensitive .Jeff in his lowest point thought of his mother but he had no idea that he said it loud hence he felt embarrassed and could not confront the girl on the same he instead got annoyed with himself and walked faster.

"Sorry"She felt guilty ?so she has it in her after all

"it's okey" Jeff replied more to himself than to her.

"No seriously, I shouldn't have said that , I know how you feel.To have no one all of a sudden is devastating,

have been there and felt it, if you give me what I want I will spare you and you will have me, I will protect you
