28 Chapter 28: The Right Place to Be

Scared, she tried pulling her hand away from his and was surprised when he immediately let her go as she stumbled back from the huge amount of force she used.

"You shouldn't be here. So I'm going to assume you got lost" said the man whose face she still couldn't see and whose voice she felt had a hint of coldness to it.

"Ye…yee…yes, I'm meant to be in the great hall. I got lost. I apologize for being here and I'll just be on my way now," Mayami said shakingly taking a step to the back instead to the side where the stairs she needed to take to go down was located.

"It's fine," he said as Mayami watched him take a big step closer to her in horror as his tall statue overwhelmed hers and though she wouldn't consider herself to be a short person yet beside the man in front of her, she felt like a tiny ant in front of a giant.
