34 Summer Camp (III)
I'm stunned by what happened last night and I don't know how to acknowledge Caithe when seeing her around the summer camp. I know she's only a child but when I keep my gaze at her, I'm inferring her pitch-black eyes when she is looking at me to the point that I almost got killed.
We ask Caithe if she recollects her memories from last night but she's just confiding that she doesn't remember anything, suddenly gets teary, and walks away.
I don't understand at all. What kind of witchcraft is that? Does occult happen at this time? I've only seen that mystic aspect in the movies but, in real life? I don't know if it happened.
But the question is, why do they need to involve the kid, who's innocent and cute. Why Caithe? Why her? My lovely kid, my teammates. What's their intention to manipulate a kid against me?
Their actions are absurd. They need to utilize someone just to torment me. If they want to destroy me, then they can do as they please. But not anyone's important to my heart.
"Hey, are you thinking about last night?" Taehyung asks me as he gives me a portion of food.
When Jinwoo's mother knows about the incident, she needs to postpone the activity for a while to make sure that her staff is okay. She wants me to have a rest even if I don't need it and just participate with my team. Even if Caithe is on my team, I'll guide them to win this whole activity and have fun with them.
"I'm fine, Tae. I was just stunned from last night or confused. What was that? What kind of sorority was that? Even you Tae. You...I don't know, you did magic." I sigh.
"Min."
"Tae, I was expecting answers coming from you or the guys but even my brother avoided my questions. That's all I want to hear, you're explanation." I explain.
"I'm sorry, Min. We just want to protect you. When the time comes, I'll explain everything. Just give us time." He whispers as he looks down and leans his head to my shoulder. I sigh as I caress his hair to soothe him.
"I know Tae so don't be sorry. I'll understand if you all can't answer me. I'll wait for you to explain everything. But promise me, you'll be here for me to protect me." He glances at me as I lift my pinky finger. He smiles and intertwines his pinky finger into mine.
"I promise that I'll be here for you all the time to protect you." He pleads as I smile at him.
"Ohh, the lovely couple having a pledge with each other, I would say," Minseok teases. His right arm wraps on Mingyu's shoulder. Then, I pull my finger out of Taehyung.
"Did the staff begin the activity?" I ask them.
"No, The outdoor activity will start in 5 minutes so you two need to come with us and take care of your team." We nod but before I go to my teammate, Mingyu taps my shoulder and signs me to come with him, I follow him behind.
"What is it?" I ask him. He crouches his back at the tree as he crosses his arm.
"Are you okay?" He inquires.
"Yes, Mingyu. Thank you for asking." I respond and smile at him.
"That's good to hear."
"Mingyu? I know you have something to say." He heaves a deep sigh as he reaches my shoulder and holds them.
"We were very worried about last night, so please be careful. We're not here for you every time, especially Taehyung and you know that. And if 'someone' came to you for an apology. Don't give your trust to that person." He warns whilst patting my shoulder.
"I know Mingyu and thank you for that warning. I'll be more cautious about my surroundings when knowing that, my life was a threat."
"Okay, I believe in you, Minsoo. I know you are a brave woman." He announces.
"Let's go?" I nod and we both stroll to our respective team. I smile at my kids when noticing them waving at me.
"Princess, are you okay? I'm sorry if I didn't remember what happened last night. Cath told me that I was sleepwalking." Caithe explains and when she burst into tears, I kneel to reach her height to wipe her tears before holding her hands.
"Don't be sorry Caithe so you don't have to worry about it. It's fine if you didn't remember anything so I'm sorry." She shakes her head as she hugs me.
"Don't tell sorry, Princess." I giggle at her when she's being so cute.
"Okay, I won't. Just have fun with your team and with me. The activity starts now so enjoy the rest of the activity." I mutter to her. She nods and walks towards her twins.
The activity begins with 'Amazing Race' and every member needs to complete one station before proceeding to another station. It's very entertaining when we can join the kids to help them to complete the station.
I glance at Jungmin, who's having difficulty with the activity. His eyes wander the place to search for the next station so I sign my kids to come after me and saunter in Jungmin's direction.
"Where are you going, Minnie?" I implore him as his team is lost from their track.
"Don't bother me, MinMin. I'm concentrating on our strategy."
"Really? I think you have a crisis today. How many stations did you pass?" I inquire while placing my arms to his left shoulder. Suddenly, he glares at me and he pushes my arms off on his shoulder.
"I know what you're doing, MinMin. You are distracting me!" He exclaims as he pushes me away and signs his team to follow him. He leaves me behind while I'm chuckling when seeing his serious face.
"He doesn't want to do our chores for the whole month." I murmur to myself while crossing my arms. I glance at my team, who's waiting for my signal.
"Let's go kids! We have 3 stations left." I announce as we search for the last 3 stations.

After the outdoor activity, we go to the stage for the rehearsal of the play. I walked to Jungmin's direction, who's reading the script. He's passionate about this play so he decides to be our director for the "Sleeping Beauty" play and he volunteers himself to do the script.
"Minnie," I call him.
He gazes at me as he hands the script to me. He pinpoints the scene that we need to practice. And so, my eyes wide when reading the scene.
"K-kissing s-scene?" I stutter whilst pointing out the scene.
"Yes,"
"But why? Do we need to do the kissing part?" He hums.
"I asked the professor if we can include the kissing scene and she said yes but only a peck. You'll be fine" He utters as he pats my shoulder.
"The scene that needed to practice was, you were pricked by the thorn of the rose that Jinwoo gave to you."
"B...but—"
"No buts Minsoo. It's on the script." He winks at me before he claps his hands to get our attention.
"Let's start! Minsoo, Jinwoo, and Taehyung, please step on the stage!" We hurriedly step on the stage as Jungmin lifts his arms for the cue.
"Ready or not, and action!" Mingyu exclaims.
"Prince Jinwoo came to the forest with a thorned rose on his hands to visit Minsoo. Prince Jinwoo went his eyes on Minsoo, who's feeding the wolves in the middle of the woods" Jungmin narrates the scene.
"Minsoo, my love. I give this flower to you as a sign of my undying love." Jinwoo lifts his hand to give the rose to me.
"Oh Prince Jinwoo, I can't accept the flower and if I do, it's like I'm accepting your love. I'm sorry Prince Jinwoo, I have someone in my heart."
"Minsoo, my love, I'll accept my rejection if you accept the lovely rose."
"As Minsoo touched the thorned rose. Her fingers pricked on the thorn, suddenly her body gropes heavy as her mind became gloomy."
"Sleep well, my love."
"As Jinwoo left Minsoo alone in the middle of the forest, Taehyung felt the curse from his heart and hurriedly searched Minsoo to the forest. And when Taehyung saw the unconscious body, he rushed to Minsoo's body." Jungmin continues.
"Minsoo, my beloved, please don't leave. I'm sorry that I left you alone. I thought that you'll be happy if I leave you alone and be happy with Prince Jinwoo. I'm sorry, my beloved, I wish I could break the curse."
"Taehyung hugged the unconscious body and Taehyung slowly leaned his face to Minsoo as their lips touched with each other." My heart skips when Jungmin narrates the 'kissing part' on the scene.
I endeavor not to open my eyes but when I feel the breath of Taehyung. Unexpectedly, my eyes open to glimpse if he's doing it.
But before I could react, I feel his soft lips against my lips.
