I lay down on my bed without speaking to anyone. My whole system begins to give up and I can't feel to feed myself. Whenever I close my eyes, the memories cross inside my head. I strive to remove all the recalls yet nothing happens. Their creepy smiles and devilish laugh pilgrimage my dream. I can't take it anymore.

I heard a knock from my door. Within a few seconds, my door creaks open as light footsteps stroll closer to my bed and sit beside me. 

"MinMin, are you okay? You hardly speak nor eat since yesterday. Did something bad happen? Did you want to call for a day and didn't attend your morning class, I can call your professor." I switch my position to face him. I place my head to his lap as he caresses my silk long black hair. 

"I'm fine Minnie. I will take my morning class since it is only my class." I say as I give him an assuring smile. 

"Are you sure? You seem not in a good state." I nod. He's just sighed in defeat when knowing that I'm too stubborn.

"Okay. Let's go. It's almost 7 am. Your class starts at 8 am. But if something happens to you, don't hesitate to call me or Jinwoo." I nod. 

He walks out of the room as I ready my stuff. Afterward, I wander downstairs into the car. I clasp the car handle and open it before sitting beside the driver's seat. He starts the engine and drives. 

Suddenly, my body quivers as I feel the eyes on me. I look around but no one is there, just a bunch of trees and neighbors. 'Don't overthink. Don't overthink.' I keep repeating my words and take a deep breath to calm myself. 

After a long drive, we reach the university and saunter inside the hallway. Some students are bickering around but there's a pair of eyes, glancing at me like a prisoner. 'When will it end?' I ask myself. 

"Are you okay? You've been quiet the whole time." I turn around and shake my head as my answer whilst leaving him behind and head to my room. 

I look around and I see Cleo with her hand waves at me and sign me to sit beside her. I bite my lips, hesitate to accept her offer. I don't know if I'll confide Cleo since it's his sister.

I don't acknowledge her offer, instead, I sit beside the wall, where Taehyung's spot. I place my thing beneath the chair. My eyes travel beside the chair and there, I see a letter. I pick up and open the letter. 

'My little angel,

Seeing your smile make my heart flutters

Seeing your pout makes my lips lean-to yours.

Seeing you gloomy makes me want to embrace you.

Do not forget that I care for you.

Do not forget how much I want you.

Wait for me and I will properly protect you. 

So please do what your heart says..'

My moods lift up as my heart flutters to his lovely words. I couldn't even take my eyes off the piece of paper. 

Subsequently, Sir Jacks walks inside the room with a smile on his face and says, "Good morning, class are you ready for our exam?" We all nod as Sir Jacks gives our test paper and starts answering the preliminary examination. 

After an hour, we give the test paper to Sir Jacks individually before getting outside the room and go to my next class. 

As I enter the room, I sit beside the window as I settle my bag underneath my chair. Suddenly, I flinch when someone pokes my cheeks. I glance at it and see Daewool, smiling at me. 

"Hey, are you ready for the exam?" He asks as he sits beside me. 

"What are you doing here?" I ask. He smiles and winks at me.

"I secretly replaced Taehyung's class for the examination and I'm actually sitting behind you but I didn't bother since you're busy reading the love letter." He says with a cheeky tone. 

"Is it okay for you to take his exam?" He shakes his head as his answer.

"I owe him last semester so I just do it for him." 

"Owe...what?" 

"He took the assessment for me when I got stuff to do." He replies as he takes out his things along with the chocolate before giving me a piece. I smile at him and accept the chocolate.

"Stuff? are you... perhaps dealing with the black market?" He chokes at his chocolate and cough uncontrollably. I grab my water out of the bag and offer it to him. 

"Am I that intimidating to you?" He whispers.

"No, when you smile, I can see your cute gums and small teeth. You are like a cute mushy cat." I giggle as he snorts out. He's adorable when he's pouting. 

"They told me that but anyway, I'm not dealing with the black market. I'm a writer and music producer in LA so whenever I need to work, Taehyung saved my life from the examination." I nod.

Afterward, Daewool and I stroll inside the cafeteria to have lunch with them. I sit beside Jungmin as he gives me a lunch meal. I smile at him before feeding myself.

"MinMin, I don't have class in the afternoon so we could get out and watch a movie at the mall." 

"N-no!" I stutter as a panic attack strikes my whole system. After a few seconds, I realize my manner when seeing them with a hint of confusion and concern.

"I-I mean we can do that... at home." I stutter. I feel the embarrassment on my whole body. 

"It's okay. It's better to do that inside our house. It's safer. I could invite them to join." 

"I-I want to be alone, Minnie. I-I need to t-talk with you." His brows furrow when looking at me.

Thereafter, Jungmin and I step inside the house and set some movies. In the middle of the scene, my mind couldn't concentrate when memories start to flashback. 

My mouth releases a deep, heavy sigh and say, 

"I went to see Youngjae and didn't think twice. I got myself to the abandoned house with two bunny masks. They want to get me but I'm so lucky to get out."

"M-MinMin, y-you remembered what happened yesterday?" He asks with a surprise in his voice. I frown at his question.

"Yes... Why wouldn't I?"

"The last time when two masks chased after you at the park, you didn't remember what happened when you passed out." He says. I bite my lips, trying to process myself on what happened at the park. 

 "I didn't… remember that." He sighs as his fingers brush through his hair and his frustration revealing to his face. 

"I'm sorry if I didn't protect you." He whispers as he looks at me. 

"Don't apologize, Minnie. It's my fault. I didn't listen to you or Amia." I murmur. 

He sighs as he strives to stop his tears yet it comes out naturally. He regrets when he doesn't protect me.

"I-I want us to take online classes and move out here," I whisper.

"W-we can do that, MinMin. As long as you're safe, I'll take an online class and move out." My heart sinks when hearing the cracks in his voice. I perceive that he wants to be with Jinwoo at the university yet he sacrifices it for me. 

"We will tell that to our parents tomorrow. They will come back." I nod. 

I'm honestly terrified of facing my parents after pushing them away. I became an illiterate daughter when I didn't take their warnings and I neglected that. I hope it went well.
