30 Moving Out (II)

Jungmin and I start to move out early this morning with the help of Taehyung and Jinwoo. Before, my father commences to tear down when seeing us being an independent person which makes me laugh. Since my father is a sentimental person that distinction to my mother. She keeps her image to be a calm woman but when she's alone, I know it's heartbreaking for her.

Subsequently, Taehyung and Jinwoo help us to carry all the luggage to the apartment which is located on the last floor of the building. It's a very enormous apartment since it can sleep 5 people inside. As we step inside the apartment, they place the luggage on the floor and sit on the couch. As I walk inside the kitchen, I take out the ingredients.

"Do you need some help?" Taehyung implores as his body leans the edge of the counter. My lips form a smile and hands the potatoes, carrots, and onions at him. Then, he looks at me with a bewilder on his face.

"What do I need to do with this?" Asks Taehyung as I glance at him in disbelief.

"Are you really asking me? Do you really want to help?" He just chuckles as he clutches my cheeks before getting the knife and chopping board and starts cutting the onion.

Within a second, I take a glance at him and I'm stunned when he's chopping the onion in the right way.

"Tae! You place the flat side of the onion on the cutting board, not the curve one! Your hands will cut off." I exclaim.

"Do you really want to help me?" I add and heave a heavy sigh. Thus, he pouts and responds with a nod. I sigh again and place my hands on his puffy cheeks and bestow a small peck on his pouty lips.

"Don't sulk. Just finish chopping the vegetables and I will do the rest. Just entertain me okay?" He grins and gives me a vigorous nod.

Afterward, I cook the rice on the rice cooker and begin to cook the Chicken Afritada. Way back in Korea, I have a Filipino friend that offers the food and I start loving it. And so, I ask her for the recipe and she willingly gives the recipe.

"What are you making?" Jungmin asks me out of nowhere, I turn around to see them, crouching on kitchen chairs.

"Chicken Afritada," I announce whilst proceeding to cook the food.

When the chicken is halfway cooked, I place the chopped vegetables inside the pot and set the tomato sauce and the salt, and paper for the flavor. Hence, I sit beside Taehyung and lean my head on the table whilst waiting for the food.

"Can we get a kitten?" I plead out of the blue. My eyes gaze to Jungmin, who's narrowing his eyes.

"All of a sudden." Jungmin comments. I nod as an answer. He then sighs when seeing me, pouting.

"After setting up the portable computer, we can visit the nearest animal shop so we could purchase the kitten and their necessities." Jungmin agrees. My eyes wide as my mood lifts when we'll be getting a kitten.

"A-are we getting a kitten?" I implore with an eagerness voice and he nods.

I squeak and embrace Taehyung when my happiness overflows inside me. I don't reckon why Jungmin doesn't like cats mostly, kittens. He prefers dogs to cats. I want both yet I choose cats, they're cute and fluffy.

After half an hour, I stand up and strides towards the stove to check the chicken. I ready the utensils and place them on the table along with the Chicken Afritada.

"Let's eat!" I exclaim as I serve them. Before I eat, I glance at them, waiting for their reaction.

"Wow! It's delicious, Minsoo!" Jinwoo exclaims as Jungmin and Taehyung giving a thumbs-up which makes me happy. Honestly, I don't infer how to cook since it's Jungmin's job and I'm just his taste tester.

"Before I forget, we need to talk about the play that we need to perform next week. It is Sleeping Beauty." I told Taehyung since he's absent when the professor discussed the play.

"Ohh I nearly forget about the play. We didn't discuss what curse should we replace the prick on the spindle of the spinning wheel." Jungmin comments.

"Instead of prick by the spindle of the spinning wheel, why don't we replace that into the thorn of the roses around the castle," Taehyung suggests.

"That is a great idea. We should tell others so we could start practicing." Jungmin emits.

I stare at my food when thinking about the play, 'Getting prick by the thorn of the rose.' Sounds cliché yet it can capture the audience's interest.

Lately, we arrive from the animal shop to purchase a cute kitten and I'm not expecting that they have a bunch of them. One breed that captures my attention is the munchkin kitten. It's a very cloud-like color with a hint of light brown of the kitten torso. My knees crouch down to reach the kitten.

"Can I hold you my baby munchkin?" I ask with a soft voice as she starts to 'meow' like the kitten is retorting me.

"That kitten is a she." Utters the young woman beside me. She unlocks the gate and carefully places the kitten around my arms. My lips shape into a smile and bestow her a peck on her nose.

"I want you to be my daughter. Do you want to come with me, my baby?" I inquire and she 'meows' as an answer. I call Jungmin to inform him that I choose the kitten I like.

"We got her a little cushion and the things that she needs," says Jungmin as he stands up to pay for the whilst Taehyung and Jinwoo tug the necessities for Mimi. Yes, I call get Mimi.

"Mimi. Do you want to have another friend?" I consult Mimi and she nuzzles her head to my arms.

We glimpse around the place and my eyes glimmer when seeing the kitten, the calico cat. I dream about having a calico cat since I was a kid. Yet, my parents said that no one can take care of it. Now, I have more time to take care of two cats.

"Tae, I want that calico kitten," He nods as he saunters to the owner and informs him that we'll purchase two kittens.

"Are you sure you want to take care of two kittens?" Jinwoo asks me.

"Yes. You know I want to own a calico cat since we're kids so I'm purchasing here and to be part of my family, right Mimi?" I inquire about my lovely kitten.

"You call her Mimi? What a cute name, what should you call her?" Taehyung interrogates as he gets the calico kitten and caresses her torso.

"Momo," I announce as I stroke Momo's body.

After acquiring the necessities, we get back to the apartment to set all the things for Mimi and Momo. As I wander out the car, I notice the unknown persona, leaning on the light pole while glancing at me. I can't predict the person since it's well covered by cap and shades. Suddenly, my body flinches when someone wraps a strong arm around my waist like it's protecting me. I peek at him, darting at the unknown persona.

"What's wrong?" He whispers to my ear as he leans his head into mine.

"Someone's leaning at the pole, staring at my direction. I can't perceive if it's a man or woman yet I have a dreadful intuition that persona is eyeing me." I whisper as I place Mimi closer to my embrace, striving to look away from the unknown persona.

"I'm terrified. What if that person barges into my apartment?" I mutter as I swirl my body to face him and lean my head onto his chest.

"Don't worry about that. I talk to my brothers that we'll move out near your apartment so I'm at ease when I'm very close to you. Do you want that?" I nod as an answer. I feel relieved when Taehyung wants to be close to my apartment.

I glance at the unknown persona yet he's nowhere to be found which is promising. Unexpectedly, a piece of the paper flows into the cold breeze down to my direction. Taehyung takes the piece of paper and his aura becomes dark when reading the letter.

"What is it said?" I ask and he gives me the letter. My whole body throbs when reading one sentence. What is wrong with that person?

'I will haunt you until you become mine.'
