28 Luna's Mansion

I maintain distance from Cleo since the assertion between Youngjae and me. She keeps on snickering or swirling her eyes at me as I regret thwarting Youngjae. Wasn't it a good idea to confront him? He has to know what happened to me in that abandoned house. 

Here I am, strolling to the place where I got hustle by the two bunny masks. I'm so bizarre about the house, more like a mansion. I guess it has a story about that mansion. 

"Ma'am, why do you like to take off to that address?" A driver asks. 

"I just want to inspect the house of that address." A driver rumbles as he glimpses at the front mirror and gives me a smile. 

"No one can go inside that place." He says

"Why?" I implore.

"It is more like a haunted house since it's been 10 years since the family of the Luna abandoned that place and what I know is no one dares to go there since they claimed it as a haunted house." He confides. 

"Luna?" 

'Why does he comprehend about the abandoned house?' 

"Yes. I was their driver back then. They are a noble family from Norway. The head of the Luna family was the prince of Norway unfortunately, the prince got outlawed to Norway contemplating he broke the law." He explains.

"What kind of law?" 

"He falls in love with an outsider human." 

"Only that? Is that a witchcraft or something? They are only human to fall in love with other humans." I exclaim. 

"I don't know about the witchcraft you said but what I know is, it is forbidden to the law of the Luna, Ma'am. It's a law that the Late King implied inside the noble family." He adds. 

Suddenly, we reach the gate of the mansion where the address is located. Then, he comes out of his cab and slowly opens the gate. And so, he steps inside his cab and starts driving. 

"Why are you allowed to open the gate? The last time I got here, the driver said that he cannot go inside so I need to start walking and search the place." He chuckles while shaking his head. 

"It is because I am the driver of the owner of this mansion so I'm allowed to get inside." He mumbles in a calm voice. 

"How did you become their personal driver?"

"My parents were a loyal servant to the Luna in Norway and when my master got exiled to Norway, my parents told me to serve them for the rest of my life. But when the head got killed, his wife gave me the opportunity to run away and had a different path." He explains. I just nod to his explanation. 

"We are here. Do you want me to wait for you outside?" He inquires in a polite tone. 

"No, it's okay. It is a waste of time if you wait for me." I say, forming a smile at him. 

"Are you sure? It's hard to get a cab around the place." He explains. I shake my head as an answer. 

"Okay, have a safe trip, Ma'am Luna." He smiled and drove away. I furrow my eyebrows when he calls me Luna. 

"Luna?" I ask myself. I shrug it off and go to the mansion. I haven't noticed that this mansion is enormous.

"The head of Luna misses the place of Norway," I whisper to myself. 

I look around and it's a typical luxurious stone mansion that you could normally see in Norway. I freed out the large threshold as the two-sided enormous wooden stairs are the first I could see and the walls have many paintings. I walked to the back of the stairs, you can see the two wide couch and in the center of it has a wooden small table. 

I wander upstairs where I hide myself to the bunny mask and open one of the rooms. One room hooks my eyes, it's similar to my room. It's lavender walls, one queen-sized bed in the center of the room, and in front of it, it has a large wardrobe and the side of the room, one huge window, and a couch that you could sit on. 

"The owner of this room has the same taste as mine." I giggle. I walk to the window to open it and sit on the couch. 

"Fresh air!" I take a deep breath to feel the air crossing the window. The tree in front of the window has a bench beside it and it seems familiar to me because of the tree. When I blink a few times, there's a man sitting on the bench so I hide in the room. I peek to see if I know the person. 

"T...tae?" I stutter when seeing the familiar blonde hair. 

"TAE!" I yell at him as he flinches. He looks up, awe when seeing me on the window. I laugh at him and run as fast as I can to reach him to the bench. I open the side door that connects to the living room and the garden. 

Thereafter, Taehyung is standing on the bench like he's waiting for me to catch up with him. I spread my arms to welcome him around my body. He smiles as he saunters closer to catch me and I jump to him. He leans his head to the crook of my neck as he stiffens my scent and wraps his arms around my waist as I wrap mine to his neck. 

"Wildflower scent. It feels like home. Your scent always syncs mine." Taehyung mumbled to my neck. I push him lightly to discern his beautiful face. 

"What are you talking about?" I ask him. He forms a cute boxy smile on his lips. 

"Nothing. Anyways, what are you doing here?" He asks. I hum as I wrap my arms to his waist while leaning my head to his chest—hearing the soothing beats inside him. 

"I remembered the bunny mask chased me inside the home, I'm curious what this place looks like and it turns out, I see this beautiful home." I lift my face to see him. 

"You... What are you doing here?" I asked him. He just hums as he caresses my back which calms me. 

"I...I miss this place. That's why I visited this place."

"You know this place? As the driver said, Luna family owned this place." I mumble. He grabs my hand and guides me to the bench so we could sit down. 

"Driver? Ohh... Their driver, huh? Yes, it's Luna's property. It's been 10 years since they left this place. The head of the Luna died the last 16 years when he protects his family from someone who wants to kidnap his wife." He glances at me when telling the history of this mansion. 

"Why do they want to kidnap the wife?" I asked. He sighs and shrugs.

"Whatever happened to this family, it's not me to say Minsoo but what I know was, their children are safe and sound." He smiles.

"You're right. Tae, are you done to your important business?" He nods.

"Really?" 

"I finished it early so I could help you and Jungmin to move out." I frown when he knows about us moving out but in the back of my mind that my father knows Taehyung, so I guess he informed Taehyung. 

"That is great Tae! So we could go....on a...date as you p...promised." I whisper as I look down at how embarrassed I am. Thus, he holds my chin to lift my face and peck my lips. I feel my blood rushing through my face that forms into bright red blush. 

"You're cute." He chuckles as he caresses my cheeks. I just pout at him. 

"Okay... I'll take you on the date so don't pout." I smile and nod. 

"Thank you Taehyung,"

"For what?"

"Nothing. I just want to thank you. Let's go?" He nods as he stands up and offers his hand. I grin and hold his hand. We take us to leave the mansion and go back to my house.
