31 I Will Haunt You Until You Become Mine

My eyes attach to the piece of paper while leaning on the backrest of the couch. I keep supposing, why does someone want to haunt me? This one sentence could torment me or my family. Now, I'm thinking if I choose the right decision to move out and live separately from my parents since this kind of person is like a stalker and wants to hurt me.

When Jungmin stares at the piece of paper, he becomes very ferocious and wants to beat the unknown persona, who gives this paper since it's inferring that my life is a threat.

"Stop staring at the paper. It is not helping if you think who gives that to you." Jungmin asserts whilst he offers breakfast and sits beside me. And when I reach the paper, Jungmin seizes the letter and tucks inside his pocket.

"Do you think it's from the men who chased me?" He heaves a sigh before responding to my query.

"Maybe but we need to be cautious of our surroundings since we don't know if you are being followed or not."

"Do you think it's a good idea that we move out separately from our parents?" I inquire as he jerks his head and sheathes his arms around my shoulder.

"No MinMin. It's better to move out than risk more lives and even if we don't, you're still in danger but the good thing is we live near Taehyung's apartment so he can protect you."

"And I can visit my love every single day." He adds. I scoff when seeing his bunny teeth smile but at the same time, I'm happy that he's with Jinwoo.

"You are very in love with Jinwoo. I'm envious of you."

"Are you? I thought you and Taehyung have progressed with your relationship. What happens? Is he...hurts you again?" He asks. I shake my head, responding to his concern.

"He wants to make it up with me but also he's busy with some important business."

"Business, huh?" He mutters by himself. I raise my eyebrows at him, noticing him biting his lips like he's thinking about something else.

"What are you thinking? Did you know anything about Taehyung?"

"W-what? No, I-I don't know anything about him. What I-I know is he's a friend of Jinwoo." He stutters as he bites his lips.

He's very anxious when I interrogate him about Taehyung. I perceive that he knows something about him.

"You're lying but I let that slide when seeing your lips rip off," I utter whilst patting his shoulder and stroll inside my room.

"MinMin, don't forget that we will be heading at the summer camp with the guys for our practice! You only have 30 minutes to get ready for our three days trip!" He exclaims. I turn to face him as my eyes wide knowing that our practice will be 3 days.

"Don't they have a class or something? We are attending an online class and they are not."

I'm worried about their grades since they are graduating, also they need to be attentive to their class yet they decide to have 3 days outing in the summer camp!

"Well, it's their problem if they fail. They prioritize this outing so I'm just going on their flows." He explains as he shrugs at me.

"Also, give me the letter that you've received." He adds as he shakes his fingers as he's waiting for me to give him.

"Why do I need to give it to you? Is it something with the paper given by the man yesterday?" I ask while hanging my door open to talk with him appropriately.

"We don't know, it might be connected to the letter that you have so give the letter to me so we could investigate if it's only a prank or a serious matter." He explains while hanging his hands, asking for the letter.

"You shouldn't involve yourself. I don't want to risk any more lives especially you, Minnie." He takes a long sigh as he ambles in my direction.

"I'll do anything to make you safe, MinMin."

"But Minnie, I can't take it if you'll get hurt."

"I won't MinMin. Just give the letter to me." I nod as I walk to my desk to get the letters and give it to him. Afterward, I bestow the letter with hesitation. And so, he accepts the letter, gladly.

"Are you going to investigate the letter to me? You know I don't want you to do the work as I'm sitting here, waiting for the progress."

"I'm sure as I told you before, I'll do my best to make you safe so please allow me to do this for you." He says as he reaches my hands and clasps around it.

"Okay, but promise me to be safe."

"I will. Pack your clothes! Taehyung and others will come here to get us." I nod and hurriedly grab my bag to pack my clothes.

Suddenly, we hear a knock from outside and so, Jungmin wanders towards the door. When he pulls open the door, my whole body freezes in place discerning Youngjae standing in front of the door.

Thus, I heed Jungmin growls loudly whilst his fist clenches. Before he punches Youngjae, I run towards him and hold his hands to soothe him but his aura makes me tremble.

"You have the guts to show yourself at us when knowing that you put Minsoo at the hole." He hisses so I push him away to Youngjae while looking at Jungmin.

My eyes gaze at Jungmin's eyes and his eyes change brown into blue. 'W...what? H...how does it h...happen?' I thought to myself.

"I want to talk to Minsoo." I stare at Youngjae, who's very calm like he doesn't show any fear from Jungmin.

"She doesn't like to talk with you so get out and don't come back!" He tilts his head up and yells at him.

"I think we need to talk alone. I want to have Minsoo back as my friends again so give me a chance." He mutters while looking at me.

"You don't need to talk to her. I'm not allowing you to lay your hands on Minsoo so you better leave or else, you don't know what will come to you next." He perils as he continues clenching his fist on my hands. Shortly after, I feel the sharp nails out of my hand.

"What are you going to do? Strangle me to death?" He smirks as testing Jungmin's limit

"Youngjae stops this!" I shout, striving to push him away.

"Min, I just want to talk with you," Youngjae says.

"My brother is right, I don't want to talk with you so please leave," I agree. I don't want to see Jungmin is furious and now, seeing his eyes change it's color, frightens me. And I don't infer why.

"Please, Minsoo give me a chance to explain." He pleads as he stretches his arms closer to mine.

Yet Jungmin pushes Youngjae out of the door, he shoves me behind. I groan when my back hits the table. Then, Daewool calls my name when seeing me on the floor, groaning in pain.

"Jungmin, calm down. I'll handle this. Jinwoo, you know what will do." Taehyung says as Jinwoo holds Jungmin's hand and walks inside his room while Daewool helps me to stand up and places my body on the couch.

"Let me see your back." I nod and lift my shirt.

"Is it hurt?" He asks. I shake my head, responding to his question.

He stands up and runs off the bathroom to get the first aid kit. Abruptly, he comes back and sits behind me. I slowly lift my shirt as he places some ointment on my back.

"It's not that bad so you're fine. It's a relief that Jungmin didn't push you hard and if it forms a large scrape and bruise, it takes one week to heal." He explains as he puts down my shirt.

"Dae, I notice that Jungmin's eyes change its colors. Is that possible?" I ask. He freezes within a second yet he snaps back to the reality when I pat his shoulder.

"You are imagining things." He says as he stands up to get my bag onto the table.

"Do you think so?" He nods while giving a beam at me. I furrow my eyebrows when imagining the eyes of Jungmin. 'Is it really my imagination?' I ask myself.

"Don't think too hard, it's bad for your health." He comments as he lifts my bag and places the bag beside me.

"What will happen to Youngjae?"

Afterward, we step outside the apartment and wander down the parking lot. Instantly, Taehyung snatches my bag and carries it with him.

"Is your back okay?" He then asks.

"I feel the pain but tolerable." He hums as he holds my left hand and gets inside the car.

I glance at Jungmin, who keeps his gaze in my direction. I smile at him and stroke his hair to cheer him up.

"Don't blame yourself, Minnie. It's fine. Thank you for protecting me from Youngjae." I reassure him. He pouts and pulls me into an embrace.

"I'm sorry MinMin if I pushed you behind. I didn't think straight."

"I said it's fine." He loosens the hug and nods.

"Is everybody ready?" We all nod in unison to answer Mingyu before he starts the engine and drives to our destination.
