As they leave us alone, Maison, on the other hand, sprints toward me as he smiles and says, "this is our chance." I respond with a nod. 

As he kneels in front of me, he strives to remove the rope around my wrist yet he winces, pulling out his hand away from it. He tries it again but another shock coming from the rope makes him groan in pain. 

Then, I tilt my head, thinking why he suddenly helps me when knowing that he'll be dead if he tries to help me running away from this… place. And why do they have to leave if they know that we can run away from here? Could someone want to help us? But who is it? I can't perceive that it's either Alice or Clarissa…
