17 Deja Vu

Deja vu...

Two words could clarify the enigma of the unknown life of mine. It happens again. Triggers my rage and memories gained.  Memories that no one explains to me. An angel that fell in love with a human. Does it really happen to me in the last 10 years? After what happened between us, I stop seeking an answer since it's useless.

I want to create my own story and step aside from all my past that could never be answered.

"What happened to her? Did I tell you to keep an eye on her? Someone chased her from the park so I guess it didn't happen when she is with you." I hear a voice coming from somewhere.

My eyes slowly shut open and glimpse the person, who's talking. There, I see two figures in front yet my vision blurs.

"I know that so I kept an eye on her but someone phoned her and she just fell down the ground unconsciously." The man answers back. I rub my eyes to clear my vision.

"Jungmin?" I call when my vision begins to clear.

"Are you okay?" He inquires as he sits beside me.

"Yes I am fine but a bit tired and dizzy," I murmur as I attempt to squat yet a sting strikes my head.

"Don't try to sit down, you are too weak for that. Just rest for a bit." He mumbles and guides my body to lay back.

"Do you want me to get you anything?" He adds. I feel my throat burning, asking for water.

"Can you give me some water?"

He nods and his gaze travels to Taehyung, who's standing in front of my bed. He comes out, leaving me and Taehyung alone. He squats beside me and reaches my hand. He raises my hand and pecks my outer palm. My eyes close, feeling his warm lips onto my hand.

"I'm sorry Minsoo, I shouldn't take you to that place. I thought you'll be happy when you see the place but...worse happened." He whispers.

I shake my head, giving him an answer.

"Don't take all the blame. It is not your fault Taehyung." I say.

"What happened back there? I knew that someone called you and passed out." He asked me. I sigh and signal him to help me sit. I strive to ensure the pain around my head.

"It's a girl who called me. She said that she knew what happened in the last 10 years." I explain. His eyes roll as his teeth clutch his inner cheeks

His hand clenched as his eyes swirl with a hint of annoyance when an incident happens. However, he strives to conceal it and gives a calming smile.

"Don't mind that... girl. She probably got the wrong number or a little prank." He assures me that it's an honest mistake.

"You think so? I think it is not only a silly mistake because when she mentioned something about the last 10 years ago, but my memories also gained and I don't know if it is a good thing or not. I always passed out." He creases his eyebrows and places back my hands onto my bed.

"What memories do you gain?" He asks.

"I...I fell in love with an angel and it also says that it is forbidden by the law." I whisper and his hand continuously strokes my hair.

"You need to rest, Minsoo. I know you are very exhausted from our trip." He changes the topic.

He guides me to lay back and cover my body by the blanket. My hand grips his wrist when he tempts to leave my side.

"Do you... believe in me? Do you think I'm crazy? Do you want to leave me alone when hearing my story?" I ask multiple questions.

"I don't think you're crazy, Minsoo. I believe in you. I will never... ever leave you behind. I promise." He murmurs and smiles widely, assuring me not to worry. He leans towards me as his lips touch my forehead to calm me.

"Minsoo, I got your water so drink it up and have a long rest!" Jungmin appears from nowhere and gives my water.

He glimpses at Taehyung and signs him to follow him outside. He responds with a nod without interrogation as if he knows what it means.

"You go first and wait for me downstairs. I need to talk to Minsoo." Jungmin nods as he leans to my forehead gives it a quick peck before leaving us alone. Taehyung leans his forehead into mine and closes his eyes.

"Minsoo, whatever happens to you. I'm always here to make you safe and protect you. Also, I promise that I'll take you to a  proper date. For now, I want you to take a rest okay?" He whispers as he pecks my forehead. I grab his arms when he gets out of the room.

"Taehyung, thank you for taking me to the pond," I said, giving him a warm smile. He nods, releasing my grips before walking out of my room.

I guide myself to my window and watch the kids playing on the road. I giggle as they get scolded by the driver.

"Don't cross the road! You almost got hit!" The man scoffs when they stuck their tongue and run away. They continuously run to the road and their eyes glance at me. They smile whilst waving at me.

"Hello, Miss Princess!" The child, long brown hair with brown eyes greets me. I greet them back and ask their name.

"My name is Eury, and this is my friends, Pammy, Cath, and my brother Daine." She introduces her friends.

"And my name is Minsoo. Nice to meet you!" They giggle when hearing my voice.

"Minsoo is your name? That's...nice? It's not suitable for a princess name." Pammy mumbles without leaving a smile on her face.

"I'm not a princess, Pammy, "

"My mom told us that you are a true princess but we cannot go closer to you because—" Pammy covers Eury's mouth.

"You can't tell that Pammy! Your mother will be mad at you. She said that it's a secret but you just barge our secret to anyone!" Pammy scolds Eury and smacks Eury's shoulder.

I giggle at their lovely expression.

"DAINE WAIT! DON'T TELL MOM! NO!!! BYE MISS PRINCESS, UNTIL NEXT TIME!" Eury runs up to his brother.

"BYE MISS PRINCESS!" Pammy takes her to leave and run to her friends. My eyes never leave them when they run off the road.

Why do they call me a princess? I guess I'm pretty enough to be a princess. I thought to myself.

However, Amia and the girl on the other line called me a princess. Are we in the line of a noble family?

"Nah! I guess not!" I scold myself and roll my eyes at my pointless thoughts. I heave a deep sigh and lean my head on the window as my gazes never leave the road. Suddenly, my door slowly opens.

"Minsoo" I hear my mother call me.

My lips release a heavy sigh before turning over and seeing her hesitant to look or come close.

"What do you need?" I ask in a rude way.

"Can we talk?"

"Not now. I'm not ready to talk, give me some time." My voice lets out with a harsh voice.

"I just want to apologize, Minsoo." She says as she holds my hands. I yank her hands away.

"Just leave," I add yet she doesn't move. I push her outside my room and lock the door.

"Minsoo please, don't do this to me. I want to believe you." She begs me to open the door, I can't. My arms wrap around my knees and burst into tears.

"I'm a terrible person! Pushed away my mother at her own house." I yank my hair as I let my tears shatter down my cheeks without wiping it off.
