The Destroyed Road

09/01/2018-11 am.

Rumia Kageyama, also known as Shoyo Kageyama's big sister, was getting ready to go to her workplace. She was thinking maybe today she'll wear some loose clothes. After she got ready she set out for her workplace taking her bag.

Rumia went to the train station and got on the train. The train was going nicely. The train reached Rumia's station after a few whiles. When she was about to get off the train on her destined station but she saw some abnormal walking styled people were there and they were trying to eat the normal people.

"What the heck are these?" " I don't know" people started to say. Suddenly a person got bitten by one of the creatures. After sometime the bitten person got up and started to bite another person. Rumia got very shocked by watching this.

The number of the zombies started to increase in the train. Rumia suddenly saw that a zombie was running towards her. She became very afraid. She started to run but due to the strongness of the muscles of zombie, it caught her. She saw the washroom and ran into it by struggling a lot. She closed the door, but the zombie was still holding her. She put pressure through her whole body on the door. The hand of the zombie made a cracking sound and Rumia was able to close the door. Rumia closer her eyes and started to think what was happening.

"Is this a zombie movie? Give me a break. How is this possible?" she said in a tired voice. Rumia took out her cell phone and saw the news broadcast about the VII's.

She was very terrified and shocked at this. Rumia was very scared but she understood the situation. She thought that maybe the driver was also affected. If it goes on like this, the train might crash or never stop.

Rumia slowly opened tried to say what was happening outside. But she saw a zombie was standing there. She slowly closed the door again. But before she closed the door, she saw that when there was a sound of a falling coin, the zombie ran towards it.

"So, the zombies react to sound." She whispered to herself. Then she took out her wallet and took all the coins. She opened the door slowly and saw no zombies nearby. So, she took her bag on her shoulders and started to move towards the engine room.

While moving, she saw a zombie standing in front of the door of the compartment. Then she threw one of her coins in another way to remove the zombie. When the coin made the sound, all the zombies rushed there. She made use of this chance and opened the door of the compartment and moved onto the next compartment.

The next compartment was filled with zombie. The smell of blood was so much that Rumia was about to vomit. But she didn't. She started to think of a plan. Suddenly her eyes were stuck on the top place of the sit where luggage were kept. She somehow climbed up there by struggling a lot. It was hard to move because the place was filled with all the bags of the passengers. When she crossed halfway of the compartment, she saw a big luggage was in her way.

"These stupid travelers. "said Rumia being angry with the bag. After trying a few times, she was finally able to threw her bag in the opposite direction and all the zombies gathered there. By using this opportunity, she jumped off and ran towards the door to the driver's room. But because of the sound she made by jumping, some zombies ran towards her. The zombies were very fast because the nerves and muscles of the leg of the zombies were very much stronger than that of humans. The zombies almost caught her, but she reached the engine room and closed the door.

She sighed again by closing her eyes. Bus suddenly she saw the driver of the train who became a zombie was standing there. Rumia's heart was about to burst out of fear. She ran away from the zombie and started to throw coins towards the opposite direction. But the zombie was not distracted by the coins.

Rumia got scared and accidentally pushed a lever of the train accidentally. The train stopped suddenly with a very high friction for that it fell out from the railway and got collapsed.

Rumia barely survived it. If she was near the window even by an inch, she would have been crushed and died. The zombie got crushed by the outcome of the accident.

But there is one problem now. The doors to the exit got crushed and there was no way to get out. After thinking for a few minutes, she found out a way to get out. She started to kick the glass on the front. After kicking a few times, the glass started to make large scratches, noticing this Rumia kicked again and this time the glass broke. She took off her jacket and tied it around her fists and started to punch the glasses to make a way out. When there was a big hole, she got out from the train and put on her jacket.

Rumia started to walk and saw that she came far away from the Osaka. She took out her phone but saw the glass was cracked. She tried to call Shoyo, but the touchscreen wasn't working. She sighed for a few seconds and started to walk again. She saw that almost all the buildings in this city were on fire and there was black smokes getting out from all the windows of the buildings.

While walking Rumia saw that most of the cars were destroyed. But suddenly she noticed a car which was not destroyed. There was just a little scratch on the car. She ran towards the car and saw that there was an unconscious man inside the car. She opened the door, took the man outside and put him in the back sit. It was kind of hard to drive with all the collapsed buildings and the zombies in the way. But it became easy when they came near the highway.

"Ah! My head. "said the man suddenly in a pathetic voice.

Being surprised, Rumia let out a scream. She lost control of the car, but when she came to her senses, she took control of the car again.

"Um. Can you tell me who you are please?" asked the man.

Rumia looked back and saw that the man was just the same age as her. He had emerald green eyes underneath his glasses and medium sized dark brown hair. Moreover, he was very handsome.

"I am Rumia…Rumia Kageyama. I am sorry for taking your car without letting you know. "said Rumia.

"No, I should thank you. When I saw the creatures and the news. I was so afraid that I fainted. I am so thankful and grateful that I met you. I thought I would see no human and I would die. Thank you so much for taking my car. "said the man by holding Rumia's hands. Rumia blushed a little and thought that the man was nice person.

"So, we are lucky to survive." Said Rumia.

"You are right." Said the man.

"Um. Could you tell me your name?" asked Rumia.

"Of course, my name is Okari Yuu." Said Yuu.

"Oh. That's a nice name. Then I will call you Yuu-san"

"Okay, then I will call you Rumia-san"

"Alright."

Suddenly Rumia saw that here were some zombies running towards the car. By noticing this, Rumia started to drive the car again.

Among them Yuu was really hungry.

"Umm. Rumia-san, I am embarrassed to say this, but I'm really hungry." Sud Yuu.

"Oh, you don't need to be embarrassed. I was also planning to stop ata convenient store to buy something."

"Thank you, Rumia-san"

After driving for a little while, Rumia stopped in front of a shopping mall where there were no signs of zombie. There were no people inside the shop also. Rumia took some food and some important things. She also took a mobile phone and some spare batteries. She saw a watch that would look good on Yuu. She took it to Yuu. But after seeing Yuu, she started to laugh and could not stop. Because Yuu was eating food as if he hadn't eaten for years. Yuu's face became bright red out of embarrassment.

"Don't be embarrassed. Please eat. "said Rumia by trying to stop to laugh.

"Did you need something?" asked Yuu politely.

"Oh. I thought if you would like this watch." Rumia said by giving Yuu the watch.

"I love it." Said Yuu by putting on the watch. Rumia smiled a little. Then Yuu continued to eat.

After Yuu finished eating, he picked up a bag he liked and took more chips and chocolates inside it. After this, they got out of the washroom and started to put the bags inside the car.

Rumia started to drive and Yuu sat beside her.

"Why were you so hungry? Didn't you eat breakfast?" asked Rumia.

"No, I didn't had breakfast."

"Why"

"Because last night I had a flight which landed in the morning today."

"Did you come from abroad"

"Yeah."

"From which country"

"Actually, it was not a single country and it wasn't a trip."

"Then for business"

"No. no I'm a pilot."

After this Rumia was so surprised that she could not talk for a few seconds.

"Really? Oh my god."

"Yeah! But I'm the youngest pilot in my batch. I'm only 23."

"Oh, and I'm 22." said Rumia.

Rumia and Yuu were talking about their personal life. But suddenly Rumia saw that the fuel of their car was pretty low.

"Hey. Our fuel is getting low. We'll be able to go only one or two kilometers from here." Said Rumia.

"Oh no! What will happen to us?" Yuu started to cry.

"Don't cry like a baby, you are older than me, aren't you." Said Rumia.

"But I'm afraid. "said Yuu.

"Don't worry. Somehow we'll manage it."

"Okay."

"Hey Yuu-san, do you know how to drive?"

"No. I only know how to pilot an aircraft."

Rumia started to laugh and said, "You can drive a plane but you can't drive a car. Ha Ha."

After almost driving three kilometers, the car stopped. Rumia thought that there would be any petrol station nearby. But there weren't any. Rumia became a little worried.

"Hey, Rumia-san, can you drive motorbike?" Yuu asked by seeing the bike which was lying beside the road.

"Yeah, I can. But I need to check if the bike is okay or not." Replied Rumia

Rumia started to check the bike and after checking she said, "We are lucky to get such a good bike. It's a BMW."

"Oh! Wow." said Yuu.

Rumia got on the bike and started it. After giving a few try, it got started.

"Get on behind me. "said Rumia.

"Okay." Said Yuu by getting on the bike.

After driving a few whiles,

"Hey, where do you think you are touching me?" asked Rumia angrily.

"Oh sorry, Rumia-san. I did not mean to touch your brea- "replied Yuu embarrassingly. Rumia's face was bright red. She was blushing. But somehow, she didn't feel angry towards Yuu.

When they went in front of the road to Osaka, they saw the road was blocked. They saw if the road could be used. But there was not a single way to use the road, not even by walking. There was a big building which collapsed in front of the road.

"We can't go to Osaka in this way." Said Rumia.

"Isn't there any other way to go to Osaka?" asked Yuu.

"Yes, there is. But it is far from here. We need to go to Hyogo at first."

"Then you have to use that way, Rumia-san."

"Yes, we have no other choice." Said Rumia.

They got on the bike and started to drive. Yuu accidentally touched Rumia's weak spot. Rumia just shivered a little and blushed but she didn't say anything this time.

"Rumia-san, can I ask you something?"

"Yes, of course."

"Why do you want to go to Osaka that badly?"

"Oh, my little brother is there."

"Ok I understand. I hope he's okay."

"If it's my brother then I'm sure he's okay." Said Rumia.

But on the inside Rumia was worried about Shoyo.
