5 Raw salmon

When I tasted the bun again, it tasted like shit.

I threw it out immediately.

"No, this tastes like shit. Give me something else." I said.

This time Nakamura gave me a packet of chips. When I put it in my mouth, it was like as if my mouth was being burnt. I threw it out. This time I got afraid. What was happening to me...

"Come with me. We'll go to a convenient shop." I said to Nakamura.

I started to run. We got out of the building and went inside a convenient shop. I took a cake and put it inside my mouth. It tasted so bad that I vomited it out. Nakamura tasted it and said that it tasted good. I started to taste everything in the shop. But everything tasted like shit.

Suddenly I took a bite of raw salmon fish. It didn't taste bad. Moreover, it tasted so good that I could not stop eating it. Other raw fishes also tasted good. Nakamura saw everything.

"What's happening with you?" he asked.

"I don't know." I replied.

Then suddenly when I looked at my right hand, I saw black weird patterns were all over my hand where Tsubomi-san bit me. I showed it to Nakamura.

"Remember when Tsubomi-san bit me?" I asked.

"Yeah. Wait…. do you mean-?" he said.

"Yes. Maybe I didn't notice, but I guess there was a little wound and a very little amount of the virus entered my body." I said.

"Oh! But why aren't you turning into a zombie?" he asked.

"I don't know, maybe my immunity system is strong? Or some kind of resistance in my blood?" I said.

After a while, when I looked at my right hand again. I saw it was gone.

"Hey, look at this." I told Nakamura.

"Oh my gosh. It's gone." He said.

"It was there before I ate the fish. Maybe when I eat the food which is edible to me only, it disappears." I said.

"Then if you don't eat your edible food, will you turn into a zombie?" he asked.

This question made me confused.

"Maybe. But when I turn into that monster. Please. Please Nakamura, kill me. "I requested.

Nakamura looked a bit helpless.

"Okay. I promise when that time comes, I will kill you. But I hope that time never comes." He said.

"Thanks. But I've got a last request. Please don't tell Mamoru-san about this." I said.

"Don't worry I won't tell her." Said Nakamura.

We went to our hideout in the building. I was afraid that what would Mamoru-san do if she woke up. But we were lucky because she was still asleep. If she was awake, we would need to answer her questions.

We were about to barely rest for two hours. Then I went to the roof to get some fresh morning air.

While I was walking on the roof, Nakamura was inside. He was guarding the girls. As I passed by the railing my eyes were stuck on a thing. I saw from the roof that a military car and a van was passing by the less zombie area. Three armed soldiers got down from a car and captured a zombie. They put the zombie in the van and closed the door. Then they got on the car and went away. I was kind of surprised to see the militaries taking the zombie. Maybe they'll do some experiments on it and try to invent the cure.

I went down and saw that Nakamura was sleeping. I sat down and tried to use the cell phone I took from the convenient store last night. It turned on, but there was no internet. I tried to call Rumia sis just once. But there was no network.

"Of course, there is no network. I am a fool to try to call." I whispered to myself. I kept the phone in my pocket.

After it got past 8 am, Nakamura was awake. He was helping me to plan how to get out of the city.

"We can't stay here forever." Said Nakamura.

"Yeah, we need to get out of here soon."

"There is less food in this building. We can not go to the convenient shop to take food forever and come back here. It is dangerous."

"There's also one thing. There was a huge electric fuss in this building. The militaries might notice this. That's not the problem. If they find us out and figure out what is going on with me…. It will be a drag." I said with a very serious voice.

"Yeah. You are right. We have to get a vehicle first to get out of here." He said.

Suddenly Mamoru-san woke up. She was numb for a few seconds. I took some time to understand where she was. But when she remembered what happened before she got unconscious, she came to her senses. She didn't still notice me. But when she saw that I was there, she came quickly towards me. I thought she was gonna slap me so I closed my eyes. But she hugged me tightly and started to cry. She held me for a while as if she thought that I would leave her again if she let go of me.

"Don't worry. I'm back. I won't leave you again." I said.

"It is like a dream. I thought you were going to…." she started to cry again.

This time I held her tightly and said, "Look I'm here. It's not a dream."

She wiped her tears by her shirt and said, "I'm so glad that you are alive."

"To tell you the truth I'm also glad that I'm alive." I said.

"Will you leave me again?" she said as she held my hands.

"Dummy, did you think that I'll leave you of my own will? I won't leave you." I blushed.

Mamoru-san and I talked a lot after that.

"Ok-Ok-You lovebirds, you can have your love talk after we get out of here." Suddenly Nakamura stopped our talk.

Mamoru-san got up and looked towards Nakamura.

"This for the time when you hit my neck" she stretched her legs and kicked right between Nakamura's two legs.

"My b*lls !!!!!!" Nakamura let out a huge scream and started to roll on the floor with his hands between his legs. I laughed..

After everyone calmed down, we thought of a plan to get out of this area. When we were getting out of the building, suddenly I started to think of my sister. Is Rumia sis all right? I was worried. But when I thought that it was my big sis I need to trust her, then I felt as if she was really all right. It was very warm feeling.
