6 Around the town

It was the night when Shoyo discovered the he could not eat normal food anymore.

"Rumia-san, it is getting late. We should find a place where we can stay at night." Said Yuu while Rumia was driving the bike.

"You are right. We should stop at a hotel or an inn." Said Rumia.

Rumia saw a petrol station and stopped there. It was a hilly area. They started to fill the bike with petrol.

Yuu was searching if there was a washroom and suddenly saw something.

"Hey, Rumia-san, look at this!" he said.

"What?" asked Rumia by coming close to him.

"This gas station has an inn! We won't need to worry about night." He said being excited.

"Great. This makes it easier." Said Rumia.

"But what if there are zombies inside. I am scared of zombies." Yuu was shivering in fear.

"We need to check the inn thoroughly." Said Rumia.

"But first we need something to defend ourselves."

"Yeah, you are right."

They started to search for anything in the lawn.

"Rumia-san, I found a spade."

"Ok, let's use it for now."

"Yeah."

Both of them entered the inn. They checked the inn thoroughly but did not find any zombie or people. So, they decided to go to two different rooms.

Yuu entered a room and left his bags on the floor. He wanted to take a shower, because his shirt was full of sweat and smelt disgusting. When he opened the door of the bathroom, suddenly a naked female zombie ran of the bathroom towards Yuu. Yuu's heart was about to stop because of fear. He fell down. The zombie was on top him, it was struggling to bite Yuu. Yuu suddenly saw the telephone and used it to hit the zombie. But the zombie bit the telephone, it was stuck on the zombie's mouth. The zombie was too strong, it broke the telephone, this happened in 5 seconds. Yuu used this chance to get out of the room. He got out and locked the door from outside.

"Rumia-san!! Rumia-san!!" shouted Yuu while knocking Rumia's door violently.

"Yeah! What happened?" asked Rumia being terrified by Yuu's knocking.

Yuu looked the other way because Rumia was only wearing a towel. Maybe she was inside the shower because her body was wet.

"There was actually a zombie inside my shower." Said Yuu making Rumia shocked.

"Let's go and kill it." Said Rumia by taking the spade.

Both of them went in front of Yuu's room.

"Open the door on my count." Said Rumia.

"Yeah."

"3….2…. 1.. Open!" shouted Rumia. Yuu opened the door and instantly the zombie came out running.

Rumia hit the zombie's head with the spade, it fell down but did not die. Rumia again hit its head and the zombie died.

"Is it dead?" asked Yuu.

"Yeah." Replied Rumia.

"Umm. Rumia-san you will catch a cold if you wear that for long." Yuu said pointing at Rumia's towel. Yuu was blushing.

Rumia's face became red.

"I'll go change it." She said as she left the room.

Yuu's Room:

Yuu finally took off his clothes and went to the shower. He totally checked his body and saw if there was something abnormal.

There were no signs of abnormalities in his body. He was relieved.

After Yuu got out of his shower he saw that Rumia was sitting on the couch.

"Hey! Why are you in my room?" he said by holding his towel.

"You looked at me in my towel, so I decided that I should also look at you. Now that we saw each other, we are even." Replied Rumia.

Yuu became surprised at this childish behavior of Rumia.

After they had their dinner which they took from the shop, they were going to sleep in their rooms.

When Rumia was about to get out of Yuu's room, suddenly she stopped. She had a confused look on her face.

"What happened Rumia-san?" asked Yuu,

"Umm. Is it okay if I sleep in this room for tonight? I am really afraid to sleep alone at night. I can not sleep alone. It's a bad habit." She replied.

"Uhm. I don't have any objections…. You can sleep here." Yuu said.

"Thank you."

"Then Rumia-san, I will sleep at the couch." He said.

"No. You don't have to sleep at the couch. You will sleep on the bed with me." Said Rumia.

Yuu's face got extremely red by hearing this. When Rumia understood that Yuu misunderstood, her face also got bright red.

"Of course, there's going to be a border at the middle of the bed." She said after clearing up the misunderstanding.

"You won't cross the border, right Yuu-san?" she asked.

"Of course not." Said Yuu.

After turning of the lights, both of them fell asleep as they were tired of the all-day journey. But Yuu was thinking one thing.

Yuu's thoughts: What did Rumia-san mean by having the bad habit of not sleeping alone.

After mid night, suddenly Yuu felt as if something heavy was pressurizing him from his left side. He got afraid thinking that if it was a zombie. He opened his eyes but it was not a zombie. It was Rumia, who crossed the boundary and put her head on Yuu's chest. Yuu got embarrassed at this but he fell asleep again.

In the morning:

Rumia woke up before Yuu. She noticed the she was sleeping on top of Yuu's body.

"Oh! This stupid sleeping habit of mine." Rumia let out a sigh.

She got out of her bed and went to the balcony. It was cold outside because it was still dawn so she came inside again.

Rumia saw that there was a hot water pot on the table of the room with some coffee packets. She boiled some water and made a coffee. She sat on the couch and took a sip of the coffee.

She took out her phone and saw if there was any network. There was no network.

She was worried about Shoyo.

After a few moments, Yuu woke up.

When Rumia noticed this, she asked, "Want to have a cup of tea?"

"Sure, and no sugar please." He said.

"Okay." Replied Rumia while heading towards the hot water pot.

After they drank coffee and ate breakfast, they got ready and went out.

In the lawn:

The lawn was a little wet for the fog.

"It is good that everything is normal. I was afraid that there might be zombies out here." Said Yuu.

"Yeah and the bike is also safe." Said Rumia.

They got on the bike and started to set out for Hyogo. The inn was at a hilly area. There were slopes of hills around. But suddenly near a slope, they saw that a zombie was on the road. Rumia lost her control over the bike and they fell off the cliff of the hill. Yuu managed to hold a branch. Rumia held Yuu's legs.

"Whatever you do don't let go off that branch." Shouted Rumia.

"I can't hold much longer." Said Yuu in a pathetic voice.

Rumia slowly climbed up Yuu's body and suddenly Yuu let go off that branch. But the timing was so perfect that Rumia held the branch and held Yuu with the other hand.

"Yuu-san, climb up my body and get on the hill!" shouted Rumia.

"Okay." Replied Yuu by climbing up Rumia's body.

Yuu got up on the hill and helped Rumia to get on also.

"My gosh, that was a close call." Said Rumia.

Yuu did not say anything because of the pain of his dislocated left shoulder while holding the branch.

"Oh no! You dislocated your shoulder." Said Rumia.

"Shit. We'll have to fix it." He said.

"Yeah, But not now. First let's go to a pharmacy." Suggested Rumia.

"Okay." Agreed Yuu.

After crossing the hill, they saw a little city.

"Look there is a pharmacy, lets go there." Said Rumia.

They entered the pharmacy and saw there was nobody inside.

Rumia took some bandages and pieces of white cloth.

"Remove your shirt." Said Rumia. Yuu opened his shirt.

Rumia took out her belt.

"Look this is gonna hurt a lot. If you shout, then it will attract the zombies. So, I am going to bind this belt around your mouth." Said Rumia.

Yuu's face became pale. He was about to wet his pants out of fear but he did not.

After binding, Rumia held Yuu's left elbow and twisted it. Yuu felt immense pain and cried out. Rumia tied his left shoulder up and made some bandages. Rumia opened the belt from Yuu's mouth and put it on.

After taking some important medicines, they got out from the pharmacy. While walking on the streets, suddenly a dog started to bark in front of them and it attracted the zombies. They killed the dog. Yuu and Rumia got very much afraid of this and started to run. The zombies were following them. Suddenly Rumia noticed a huge gate of a mansion/rich man's house.

"Hey, let's go there." She shouted while running towards the huge gate. Yuu also followed her.

Rumia climbed up the gate and held out her hand so that Yuu could get up. Yuu held Rumia's hand and Rumia pulled her up. After they entered the gate, they calmed down because the zombies could not cross this strong metal gate.

"You are seriously strong, Rumia-san." Yuu said.

"Thanks." She replied while looking at the big house.

"Let's go into the house. We might find some clothes." Said Rumia by looking at her torn shirt.

"You are right." Said Yuu while walking beside Rumia.

They entered the house, but saw nobody there. Suddenly, they heard that a girl was crying. They rushed towards there, where the sound was coming from.

Rumia and Yuu saw that a zombie who was wearing bodyguard uniform was trying to break an almirah. The crying sound was coming from the almirah.

Rumia was puzzled to see this but Yuu was trying to find if something could be of any help to kill the zombie. Suddenly Yuu noticed that there was a revolver on the zombie's waist. He slowly went towards the zombie without making any sound.

Rumia got very afraid to see Yuu heading towards the zombie. But Yuu quickly took the revolver, opened the safety switch and shot the zombie's head two times. The zombie died.

Rumia was astonished to see Yuu's intellect. But Rumia didn't waste a single second. She went towards the almirah and knocked it softly.

"You don't need to be afraid, everything's alright now. You can come out now." Said Rumia in a soft voice.

"I'm afraid of the monster." A voice came out from the almirah.

"Don't worry. We killed it." Said Rumia.

"Really?" again said the voice.

"Yeah." Replied Rumia.

Now the door of the almirah opened and a little girl, maybe of 4-5 years came out. Rumia hugged and patted her. Yuu also pat her head.

The little girl laughed with a very cute smile. Rumia and Yuu also laughed.

But suddenly Yuu got terrified when he looked at the girl's shoulder. There was a weird green pattern on her shoulder which was sometimes getting bright and sometimes getting dark.

Just who and what is this girl with the pattern? Is she a human or is she a...
