1 Chapter One - Yuki

It was a hazy day. It looked like snow will soon start to fall. Of course, the winter is going on therefore its normal to hail at any time, especially in this region. I was starting to feel lazy just because I had to go to school, and time was running out cause it's a pain in the ass. But I rushed and got ready in the nick of time. Then as I went to the dining room as per the call of my mother, that desk took my attention. Every time I thought about that desk, it just remained in my memories cause once I looked at that desk, I always recalled my big sister who always cared for me no matter what was going on in the world. She always loved me and I knew that, but I acted like I hated her cause she was so careful of the things I was doing such as, if I got a little scratch on my hand, she would run like an ostrich just to get the bandage and wrap it on my finger, and she would cry like if someone got killed just because I got a scratch, and if maybe a little blood was coming out. But now, I regret the most about why I didn't show a little empathy towards her just because she cared for me like my mother. I still hate myself to this day. If, if I just showed her a little love that day, I think she would get peace in the heaven. Cause, yeah, she doesn't exist anymore. I always miss her love to this day till now. But I need to move on with my life cause if I regretted anymore, I would become dead inside my body. And then I nearly forgot about my school with the deep thought I was in. As soon as possible, I ate the bread and eggs, and left my house saying 'bye' to my mother. As I looked in the eyes of my mother, I could tell that she wept so hard that her eyes were swollen and has already become dead inside with this much pain of losing her own daughter. But what to do, cause this pain will live forever in our memories and we need to learn to live with it.

Streets were nearly empty cause of the cold, and fog was everywhere, where the eyes looked. All I could see was houses and some students of the school with very limited vision. As I was getting close to my school, a really big hand came from the back and hit my back really hard. I almost fell to the ground cause of the effect of getting hit really hard. As soon as possible I looked to the back and found my big, astute and honest best friend, Yamato Moritaka.

"Yo man, how's it going? I hope everything is going fine cause we heard today there's a new girl coming to the class. And about that thing Kuni, I am really sorry for what happened with your father and sister. If you need any help, just remember, I'll always be there for you." – Yamato

Yamato Moritaka, or as everyone knows him as 'cunning fox' cause he's so intelligent that he can remember nearly anything like the smallest details of the smallest things and for that thing, many of the students of the school got into trouble for various mischiefs just because Yamato caught them using his big brain. Besides that, he's a best friend of mine. When we were in kindergarten, I still remember to this day. I got chased by some bullies and there was no one there for me. Luckily, Yamato was passing by the street at that time, and he didn't know me. But I just looked at him and within a second, he smashed all of that bullies and saved me. Then he asked me for my name. And gave his hand out to pull me up. I said, "I am Takagi Kuni, and thanks for saving me." With an instant reply, smiled and he told, "Oh, nice to meet ya, I am Yamato Moritaka, and let's be friends!" And with that action, we became best friends to this day. Yamato would always assist me and to this day he helped me to remain who I am. Thanks to this muscle brain, I can remain a normal person, not a weakling from what I was before.

"Thanks man, for always looking out for me like a big brother. I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart."- Kuni

"It's okay man, because I am like your big brother. Just ask me for any help if you need."- Yamato

"Okay, so what's up? You said that there's a new girl who's coming to the class, who's she?"- Kuni

"I don't know much about that girl, but I heard from the teacher's lounge yesterday, that she's from Tokyo. Anyways we can know more about her once she comes to class today and also its her first class today, and besides we are getting late, so we need to hurry." – Yamato

"Yeah, class is about to start now, we need to go, let's talk later at class." – Kuni

Time went as a racing car while we were chatting and we didn't even know. But thanks to Yamato reminding me, we set out for school as soon as possible.

It didn't take a long time to reach the school because we were already close to it as we were walking. Thank goodness, the school didn't start already or otherwise we would have had to receive penalties. After reaching the school, nostalgia filled in me as I didn't go to school for a long time. The shoe cabinet in which we kept the shoes and took our indoor shoes felt so old yet with a bittersweet feeling. The smell of the hallways felt like something which came out from a long time ago. Of course, I didn't go the school for a long time that must be the reason, yet it felt like something which I never had in my life before.

My classroom was on the fourth floor in the junior high section of the school. I was in the third year of my junior high. I didn't have much time until I got into high school. My seat was beside a window in the fifth row. And in favor of that, my favorite seat was the window seat. Soon the class started and our homeroom teacher, Miss Owura, came to collect our attendance. As she was calling our names and simultaneously, we answered her 'Yes'. The classroom door opened and she came.

"Okay class, now I would like to introduce you guys to Kinoshita Jasmine. She recently transferred from Tokyo to here. And from now on, she will be your classmate."- Miss Owura

So, her name was Kinoshita Jasmine and she looked lovely as a white flower. She looked so beautiful with her fair skin that after Miss Owura gave her introduction, she smiled and that smile showered the class with visible happiness. Literally every boys and girls in the class were stunned by her looks with just one glance. But as she smiled, I suddenly took notice on the window that the snow started to fall.
