Before humans are born, Legendary Beast and and Elementals are leaving in harmony before the great war happened that wipedout ninety-nine percent of those existence. When a legendary beast dies, it leaves a 'beast essense' which can be refined to gain the skills and prowess of that beast while when an elemental dies, it leaves an 'elemental essense' which contains 'sacred arts' that gives those fortunate ones who practices it a massive boost to their fighting prowess. After the great war, ancient ruins with elemental essense and beast essense are just waiting for those cultivators with affinity and courage.
