5 Flrting with Disaster

Watching Tony go back to his table Andrew had a funny expression on his face. It was a mix of worry and disbelief. What kind of man could be that close to his wife and not notice it's her? Is he that clueless to how his wife talks and acts?

Alison couldn't help but watch the emotions on Andrews face. "Darling can we go to our table already? Or do you want to talk to that pest some more?"

'who wants to talk to that imbecile .' Andrew thought as he looked at her. The love in his eyes couldn't help but shine through as he reached for her hand to lead the way. he had hid this feeling for so long it naturally shone the moment it had the chance.

Holding her small hand in his he could feel how soft they were. Unexpectedly he also felt a few calluses close to the middle of her hand. Remembering all the jobs she did back then to support that despicable man he suddenly felt a bit angry. Glaring at Tony as he passed he pulled Alison closer to him wrapping his arm around her waist. Andrew wanted Tony to know this was his woman even if it was only till the divorce was finalized. He felt during the time this divorce would take he could surely make Alison his woman.

Alison looked up at him with a secretive smile on her face as his arm wrapped around her waist. Seeing the death glare Tony was shooting Andrew made her one up both of them in the only way she knew how. Leaning up she put a quick kiss on his cheek before turning away with a blush on her face. Peeking through her hair she could see Andrew's facial expression as it switched from startled to pleased and again to startled before settling on an expression of bliss.

During all this Mindy couldn't help but watch Tony as his expressions went darker and darker. She could feel a premonition coming on about the bloody war these two would have for Daisy. Watching her brothers shameless behavior with that woman she couldn't help but wonder. 'When will I find my happily ever after. Even though brother isn't quite at his ending yet with daisy he still has a strong enough chance to keep fighting.'

"Mindy come with me to the table Andrew has to go do something real fast and I don't want to be left alone."

Mindy looked up at that and ran to Daisy's side telling her brother to shoo with a single hand motion while turning her head towards Daisy to start talking. "OK I got this one but afterwards we need to go pick up your luggage. Is Andrew buying you a car to use while your here or are you two going to share? If you want I will take you to the dealership later to pick you one out."

Listening to Mindy's small talk Alison smiled even bigger and nodded her head to most of it. Showing a shy best friend side in front of all these people lower the chance of them recognizing her voice in the slightest. Looking at Tony from the corner of her eyes she smiled evilly before speaking to Mindy in a louder voice. "So Mindy I heard your fiancee was talking about moving to town as well are you excited?"

Seeing Mindy's surprised expression she winked and nodded her head towards Tony as she sat at the table near the window. Mindy wasn't a fool seeing his expression she believed it was time to embellish on that story. She just hoped her best friend Daren McDuffie could support this lie to its fullest.

"Yeah Daren is coming next week! I can't wait to see him again. By the way he asked me about you again wanting to know if you would be in town or still taking care of your sister. I didn't know what to tell him so I pretended to not know to surprise him somewhat when he gets here."

"Cousin indeed found a good wife she already realizes that the women wear the pants in our family. Make it so that he feels the power every now and then. Then just tighten the reigns more."

If anyone was really paying any attention to them they would have noticed the girls were writing small notes back and forth with their real conversation on it.

*Mindy I feel nervous. What if he realizes it's me? Can we just leave and make our orders to go? If he keeps staring at us I am afraid he will find out my identity

-Don't worry Andrew will be back soon just keep this up. I will order when the waiter comes over is there anything you want in particular from here?

*Honestly I have never ate here before. After we moved to Pepperton that asshole made me cook every night. Just TN order whatever you and Andrew like I'm really not too picky.

Right about then a young waiter walks up to get there order but before he could ask what they want Mindy handed him the menus and stated calmly "Three of your biggest sirloin steaks with twice baked potatoes and steamed veggies. We will have three glasses of sweet tea as well as three house salads with ranch."

As the waiter left dumbfounded Alison couldn't help but look at Mindy in a different light. Even though she had been a server in her past she didn't feel sorry for this waiter. Honestly she only felt bad for the owner especially when he came back for them to repeat their order twice more. Feeling a bit bad for him she sent him a silent signal about order book.

Unfortunately he didn't take the hint so she cleared her throat for him to realize she was signaling him. If he didn't get this then wouldn't he be a fool! She wanted to make him write out the order in case of a slight mistake. he gave her an appreciative glance while taking his notebook out to jot their order done before jogging away from their table.

Andrew found the sight of a waiter running from their table hilarious. But as the waiter left he saw that stunning woman he had missed in these fifteen minutes it took to go back to his office. he pulled the ring out of his pocket and slipped it on her finger as he sat down. "I believe my lovely fiancee left this on the sink at the office. So glad I found it before someone could walk away with it."
