3 Andrews First Love

"Alright if you really want to know I can only tell you some of the story behind it. But first let us start dying your hair the blonde takes awhile to set in hair as dark as yours." Mindy started preparing the dye as she talked about her brothers past.

"It all happened eight years ago. He met this beautiful waitress at some cafe across the road from the University's law section. Come to think of it he never mentioned her name just that she married the towns youngest doctor Tony Hight. Supposedly she was an unparalleled beauty. One of those that would make any man beg her to be theirs."

Mindy was talking as she separated the hair in to many sections to make the dyeing process easier. Calmly applying the dye as she watched Rebecca's face. Seeing all the emotions passing through her eyes she began to wonder if Rebecca was Daisy the elusive woman who captured her brothers heart and never let it go.

As she listened Allison had a flashback to one of her handsome customers that always brought her flowers when he came. Just one single daisy a day her favorite flower was always in her hair thanks to him. "Andrew gave her the nickname Daisy supposedly she loved those flowers more than any roses out there. I call bullshit on that, but every woman is different. He gave her his number three weeks after meeting her but she declined telling him she was engaged already."

Mindy sighed thinking of her brothers lonely face after saying that. "I just wonder if she ever thought about that handsome man from college after she married the doctor. I suppose she wouldn't but according to Andrew, if she really is in an abusive marriage, maybe she regrets turning him away. What about you Rebecca do you think she regrets it?"

Washing the dye out after awhile she thought Rebecca would never answer her. Still watching the way Rebecca was analysing everything she said she pondered again over how her brother met Rebecca. She really wanted to know if this woman was a fill in for that waitress or if she was Daisy herself. she knew her brother better then anyone but even she wouldn't be able to say for sure who that elusive woman was. Even if she saw her she couldn't tell you for sure that was the woman that had stole her big brothers heart. Right as she was about to say it was hopeless to wait for Rebecca's answer she finally spoke up.

"She probably does assuming she remembers that much from those days. My sister was in a similar relationship and she couldn't recall the men that flirted with her while she was with her husband. It had something to do with the pain he brought her when he found out about another man flirting with her. I assume Andrew's first love changed jobs a lot because of this as well." Allison didn't want him to know anymore just that one part about daisys made it clear. Andrew was the man from the cafe that promised her the world for her heart. How could she not be touched knowing he had stayed in this small town for her and even stuck to this path to give her a way out.

"I guess your right on that part big brother never told me much after that. Three months ago he was livid and went to the hospital to confront Dr. Hight about Daisy. Unfortunately he was asked to leave by security personnel shortly after arriving. That's when he told me more about Daisy's current home life. Alright let's rinse this out and blow dry then we can start the highlights." Mindy was tearing up remembering her brothers sad eyes when he told her about daisys situation.

Washing the dye out she noticed she wasn't the only one crying, but why did Rebecca have a slight hint of regret in her eyes over her brothers tragic romance. "It seems like you know a little bit more than me if your also crying. I was hoping my brother moved on but to actually tell you about Daisy. Damn he moves faster then I thought."

Allison just grinned while obediently setting in the chair to think. During the process of blow drying she fully embraced the thought that maybe Andrew really waited all these years for her to realize how bad her relationship with Tony was. What girl wouldn't be flattered just thinking about it. Around the time she started feeling excited about her future prospects Mindy finished with the blow dryer and started talking. Unfortunately Allison didn't catch what she said. "I'm sorry can you repeat that I was lost in my thoughts again."

"Wow so my brother isn't the only hair brained person I know. Tell me what you think and do you still want those red highlights. To me this is already perfect you look completely different. Any more would be overkill."

Mindy wasn't wrong either. Looking in the mirror she could pass as at least ten years younger then her current age. Was it really smart appearing as a sixteen or seventeen year old though. Would anyone accuse her of trying to seduce Andrew with this appearance. She whole heartedly hoped they wouldn't. But knowing the gossips in this town every movement of hers would be under scrutiny. She heard the bell downstairs ring again and wondered if Andrew was back and what would he think about her new appearance.

"Wow no need for highlights." Allison turned to see Andrew in the doorway his eyes never wavering from her in the slightest. "Still as gorgeous as the day I first met you."
