7 Chapter 7

She looked like she had been crying. "Watch where you're going!" Nicky snapped.

"I'm sorry" Melody backed up. "Are.. Are you OK?" she asked

"W-what?! I'm fine" Nicky barked.

"But you look like you were crying.." Melody said sheeply.

Nicky was shocked. She didn't have anything to say in response.

"Do you… do you want to be friends.. It can be very lonely being by yourself.." Melody asked nervously.

"W-what?! You want to be friends with me?!" Nicky said confused.

"Y-ya.." Melody looked away. " You don't need to say yes, i just wanted to ask. I know what it's like to be lonely and i wouldn't wish anyone to be lonely it isn't that big of a deal if you say no-" Melody said quickly and nervously. She paused, "I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to ramble on.  I probably didn't even make any sense." She said shyly.

"No your fine.. I'm shocked that you'd ask to my friend.." Nicky said till in awe. "I'd actually like to be your friend."

"Really?!" Melody said in shock.

Nicky nodded. They both smiled.

"Um so what class do you have?" Melody asked.

"2-B."

"Oh! Me too!!" Melody said excitedly. "I was actually heading there, but I seemed to get lost some how.."

"I'll take you."Nicky said while taking Melody's hand. Nicky dragged Melody down the hall and towards the classroom. "Sorry about earlier."Nicky said in remorse. "About pushing you and your friends."

"No it's fine. It didn't really faze Noah, but Alec not so much.." Melody replied.

"Which one is Noah?" Nicky asked.

"Noah's Red haired one, looks tired. Alec is my older brother, he's the purple haired one with his bangs pulled back." Melody said while smiling.

"Oh.." She paused."We're here." Nicky opened the door, "Sorry we're late, we got lost on our way here." Nicky said while standing in front of the class, still holding on to Melody's hand.

"It's fine" the teacher sighed. "Take a seat in the back row, the both of you." The teacher then turned around and continued to write on the board.
