CHAPTER 6

"Noah! Wait up!" Alec runs up to him out of breath with melody not far behind. "Why'd you just walk away? She probably thinks you're a pansy now!" Alec said giggling. Melody catches up to the boys and walks beside noah. "I'm sorry.. I caused you trouble again." she says shyly. "Hm? You cause any trouble." Noah said confused. Melody smiles and blushes lightly. "O-Ok.." Alec smiled and put his hands behind his head. "Isn't amazing that my lil sister could be in the same grade as us? I mean not everyone can skip a grade." Alec said in a bragging tone.

"I could skip a grade." Noah said while he opened a book.

"Haha! But you would be without me if you went up a grade." Alec said playfully.

"Mhm and that would be a blessing." said Noah in response while reading.

"You know you would miss me!" Alec said laughing.

"Sure" Noah closed his book. "We need to get to class. Melody do you know where you're going?

"Mhm! I know. It's somewhere down this hall!" Melody said quickly.

There was a brief silence, "Alright then. We'll see you at lunch then" Noah said walking away.

"Hey! Noah you need to stop doing that!" Alec said in frustration."Bye sis! See you later!" Alec waved and rushed after Noah.

"Bye.." Melody waved and turned at the corner. She walked down the hall in daze. She didn't relize she passed her class and ran into someone. "Oh! I'm sorry!" she looked up and saw Nicky.
