23 Have you fallen for me?.

Ren Jones ran his eyes at the woman sitting silently in front of him.

"What do you mean by second date again?" Hynei spoke up angrily, her eyes staring lasers at him.

Jones just opened up and asked "Ahem.... Do you know what you want to order?" changing the topic drastically.

"I already apologize to you! I am sorry that I deceived you." Hynei continued, her gaze was daring and condescending.

Jones closed the menu that he was holding with little force making a sound that flinch Hynei slightly. He look straight to her eyes, lifting his head.

" Let's pretend as if nothing happened and remain as a teacher and a student." Hynei snarled.

Jones leaned back on his seat as he kept looking at her, she was all riled up and he liked that. Hynei stared at him silently as if she was trying to determine his intention.

"I think we never introduced formally each other! With a light smile Jones said. " I am Ren Jones"...

Why? Hynei interjected him totally in a curious tone. Hynei felt more angry as she thought that Jones is enjoying making fun at her.

Do I look easy because I spent a night in stranger's room? Hynei clenched her hands into a fist in anger.

Do you only think like that? Jones said in indifferent tone.

" Hynei continued her gaze without saying a word. She didn't understand what he had just said. He had a mature beyond his age. She could not read him easily."

The sound of Hynei's phone slightly startled Hynei breaking the silent. Checking the caller ID she said curtly "I need to pick up". She excused herself picking up her phone.

Jones eyes follows her dashing out from the table. Jones, himself didn't understand why he keeps on missing her after that night. At first, he was taken back to saw Hynei in the class but tried not to show any expression. His whole mood was lit up after he encountered with her in university. Just thinking about Hynei makes his lips curled up in smile.

Jones ordered a coffee waiting for Hynei but the coffee was almost over but she didn't come back. Jones starts worrying indwardly "Did she run away?" He took a glance at his wristwatch and couldn't seat anymore. He stood up and walked out grabbing Hynei's bag from her seat.

He searched for Hynei around the cafe but didn't find her. Did she really left? but her bag...Jones mutters soundlessly.

Turning to the left, Jones start walking to car park holding Hynei bag. He paused his strides when he faintly heard a woman wiping sound. He slowly steps looking at woman wiping holding a phone tightly in her chest. His steps grown bigger when he saw clearly the image of woman.

What happened? Jones squatted down and asked worriedly , but the girl was unresponsive.

Hynei slowly lifted her head up with swollen eyes looking at Jones. Instantly her eyes polls up with teary and start crying letting out her pain which Jones eyes flew away in shock.

"Why are you crying like this?" Jones said as he held her tightly against himself, burying her head on his broad chest.

"Whatever it is, I am sorry. I won't never asked to meet you up again. So, please stop crying." Jones said smoothing her back gently.

Hynei pulled herself away from him and broke a smile which makes Jones stiffen and turned his jaw rigid.

"You! I find it so funny". Hynei said rubbing her nose and wipping her tears.

"Sorry, She apologised". She feels sorry at him when he saw the expression that cross in his face.

"I am crying because I am happy, We win! " Hynei said with sparkling expression. Jones amusedly look at her with disbelief eyes. "How can a girl mood changes so easily!" He thought himself.

"Hynei stood up but her legs fell weak almost losing balance. She suddenly felt a strong arms grabbing her . She instantly pushed and balances herself."

You got hurt? Your knees and legs! Jones lowers down and scope Hynei in mid- air.

" Hynei stared at him in suprised, her heart's beat stop. "Hey! Let me down. She screamed to put her down." Jones didn't say anything but simply carried her. She couldn't do anything but hold on. He made her sit on a bench and folded out his purse taking out a band aid.

"I will do it". Hynei said.

Just sit down and I will do it, he commanded her in a stern voice leaving her no chance to argue.

" Does it hurt?" Jones asked with concern.

"No... " She stutters.

"It's over... He put the band-aid and looked up. He gulped when he noticed her neck and her ponytail tied up that way highlighted her slender neck.

Hynei looked at him and saw that he was staring at her instantly. She caught his eyes and they stared at each other.

Hynei back to reality and cringed her mind what am I doing? She broke the eye contact and look down. Jones didn't say anything but had a doting smile on his face.

"I am fine now. Hynei said scratching her nails. I got hurt while practiced. I am used to it so, I don't think much. It will be gone after some days." Hynei added in unbother expression.

Ah! Dance practice. Jones said nodding his head.

Wait, How do you know? Hynei brows her eyebrows.

Without thinking much she asked unhurriedly.

"Have you fallen for me?"

"Yes, Go out with me! "Jones replied instantly making Hynei brain juice dried up.
