12 ~12~

Arcus opened the door and I went inside, he stood at the entrance without saying a thing.

-Come on in. At the end I can do nothing without someone who can see, even if I’ve been living here for ages, I still can’t move without my eyes.

-I can’t enter without the permission of the owner either. He excused.

My hands were touching everything, trying my best not to crash onto some wall, or plant pot. I removed my shoes at the entrance, putted the bag on the living room’s black leather sofa.

-Don’t forget to remove your shoes before you enter! I marked with some firm expression, as if my house was that clean.

I am actually not a clean freak; I search for coziness and comfortability more than anything else. Yet, I cannot deny that I am sometimes so freaking disorganized but the fact that I insist on leaving footwear at the door may be a habit that my own mother injected into my DNA.

-Wow! Those are too many plants in here! Are you sure this is a home not a forest or some kinda nursery garden?! He said with a stunned gaze.

-Well maybe I indeed live inside a forest! I smiled.

After few steps, I think I already reached the door of my bedroom; my right hand was trying to find it continually but I just could not. As if I was in the middle of an empty place. As if the door was getting farther every time I try reaching it.

Arcus then came to help me and opened it for me.

-What do you need specifically? He asked.

-Eh… I’m sorry for troubling you actually…

-Nah, it’s my pleasure actually. But hurry ‘cause we’re running out of time.

-Oh! Yeah, totally forgot. Eh… Can you pick up a shirt and any shorts?

-Which shirt? There’s plenty out of here!

-Can you find the light beige shirt with star buttons? It has short sleeves and it’s a bit oversized. It’s on the clothe holder.

-Yup! Found it! That was so detailed as always. Anyways, and what about the shorts?

-There just right there on the bed, the blue jean ones and is there any belt on them?

-Yeah, there is. What else? Anything more?

-Eh… I guess no, ‘cause I already have most of the things inside my bag, I’ll just need to remove some stuffs from it so it would be lighter to carry around.

We then both went out of the room and I sat on the sofa while Arcus stood next to me. I reached my floral back bag, and started getting all of the notebooks and papers out. I only kept my purse that has all my cards and some backup money, my emergency underwear *well at the end I’m a girl, right?*, my teeth brush and my essential lavender oil that I use as a perfume. Arcus handed me my clothes and I just pushed them into the case, closed it and putted it on my shoulder.

I stood up and said:

-I guess we’re fine now, we can head out.

-As you wish my lady, you sure you didn’t forget anything? It seems that you’re a bit messy and non-concentered.

-It’s alright even if I forget something, at the end it’s just a two days trip.

-At least. He added.

We went out from the home, and carefully passed the stairs once more. However, this time was a bit easier to go through. Maybe I have started to kind of getting used to the situation.

As soon as we hopped onto the car, we started our route to our destination.

-Which place are we going by the way? I questioned.

-Didn’t I tell you? We’re going to the main city. A friend of mine who lives there told me that he knows a specialized ophthalmologist who could help us.

-So it would at least take three hours and some if we don’t count the rest time. Right? But wouldn’t it be too expensive?

-Money doesn’t matter for the moment, we’ll deal with it later. Got it eyeglasses girl? He patted my head and made my hair all messy.

The wind was blowing a bit hard on my face; I guess Arcus is already going passed the limit speed. I lost the sense of time, when I got lost in my thoughts… Suddenly, the car slowed down, turned to the left and stopped.

-You hungry? Want me to get you something? Or do you wanna go out by yourself? Asked Arcus.

-Where are we now? have we already arrived?!

-Well, we’ve already passed more than the half of the route; kind of one hour left to go. We’re now in a station. So what’s your decision?

-Eh… I think I prefer going out, I actually need to use the bathroom.

-Oh! Okay. I’m going to leave you at the door and I’ll find someone who can help you out inside.

We went inside the station, and then… Arcus disappeared for a while, I guess he is waiting for me at the entrance or maybe he already ordered something… Someone came close to me, but it is a super short person…

-Hey Miss, do you need some help? Said a tiny girl.

By her voice I can say that she is around her five or six years old. She held my hand and added:

-I can help you if you need. Mommy told me that we should always help others, and you seem like a lost person. And you know? I think you are pretty.

-Oh! Thank you princess, I think you’re beautiful too. I said as I patted by my other hand her small head.

She had short wavy hair. Her skin was clear just like any other kid.

-Where is your mommy little girl? I worried.

-Mommy is in the sky watching me between the stars. she said with a smile.

-Are you here with someone?

-Do you need some help Miss? She asked again ignoring my question.

-Yes, please. Could you show me where’s the bathroom’s door please?

-Of course I can.

She dragged me with her minuscule cute hand and then opened the door for me. As soon as I wanted to come in, she said:

“It’s coming, wait a little more”…

My eyes got widened by shock… the same sentence again…

She pushed me into the bathroom, and locked the door. When I opened it again, I called her many times but with no response. Some other person came near me.

-What’s wrong Miss? They asked.

-Where the little girl go to?!! I shouted into their face without conscious.

-Calm down Miss. They held me from my both arms. There is no girl in here.

-But she entered with me! She talked to me! She was right here! Maybe I can’t see her but I’m sure she was here!

-Calm down Miss, Take a deep breath. When you entered, you were all alone. I was here before you, and I saw you coming in. she said.

What?!! How can that be possible?! Am I hallucinating things?! What’s happening to me?!
